During an appearance on Morning Joe, Tuesday, Newsweek editor Tina Brown made an off-hand remark about Barack Obama, conceding that the politician "wasn't ready" to be President. Brown has previously attacked Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives for daring to oppose the Obama
While discussing whether New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will change his mind and run for President, the former New Yorker editor blurted, "Actually, I just hope he doesn't, because in the end, you know, his tremendous misgivings, maybe he is right. I mean, We had this with Obama. He wasn't ready, it turns out, really."

The Wizards of Smart lecture to us again.
It’s a classic case of a guy rising until he reaches his level of incompetence. Moving from community organizer to politician.
While O wasn’t “ready”, neither were those surrounding him. The more sinister possibility is that the destruction of American exceptionlism and the still somewhat capitalist economy has been the goal all along. Now, Hillary steps in to “save” the day.
Hey Tina: He’s still not ready.
He won’t ever be ready.
Obama isn’t unqualified due to lack of experience. He is unqualified (as is the case with most Affirmative Action wonders) due to lack of ability. If he was sufficiently able, he wouldn’t have needed Affirmative Action. Duh.
Are you using "ready" to mean "wanted" or "was willing," rather than "was prepared" or "was experienced"?
Because no way did he have the experience or the preparation.
Would he have gotten it if he were more seasoned in politics and kicked around for a few more years? Would that have made him a better President?
Well, he was sort of a stealth candidate. He was elected because he'd never had to make any really tough or important decisions.
If he'd been Governor of Illinois or Mayor of Chicago, he'd have gotten more experience, but he would have made enemies. He would have had to run on a record, and his performance and the stances he took might well have made him unelectable.
Was it affirmative action that made him President or Senator? I wouldn't necessarily go there. Some people voted for him because he was Black, just as many voted for Kennedy because he was a Catholic or Carter because he was a Southerner.
Call it ethnic solidarity or luck or the power of the Chicago machine. He got as far as he did by not being experienced.
Obama couldn’t lead any nation—he couldn’t even lead a Union. Even a Communist Nation needs leadership—he would have been eaten alive in Stalinist Government. leadership is more than just giving a good speech—it takes guts and he has none. Only the fact that America has become a nation of Whims is why he was elected and continues in office despite all of the rules he has broken and his hidden past. I believe when the truth comes out, he will be the dirtiest, most corrupt, president in history.
in the current senate,
who is Cassius?
who is Brutus?
I think they are sharpening their daggers
LOL...see #31.
are they on the same meds?
He wouldn’t be ready in a million years. He is pathetic.
Dude must be deaf. There were millions of people screaming this before the election.
She must fo to Pelosi’s plastic surgeon.
The LEAST qualified person in ANY room he’s in.
Pretty much what Christie said tonight.
IOW....he wasn’t enough of a DICTATOR! I see though this sh!t.
