The authorities in the Syrian governorate of Homs have seized Israeli ammunition, the state news agency SANA reported on Monday.

According to the report, a Peugeot 404 car loaded with amounts of weapons including Israeli weapons, explosive devices, ammunition and stolen military uniforms was discovered.

A military source told SANA that while searching the car, the authorities found an Israeli-made machine gun, hand grenades, including an Israeli grenade and some explosive devices, two of which are set for radio controlled detonation. In addition to that, the source claimed, four explosive devices were also seized.

The source told the news agency that sophisticated communication devices, some automatic firearms, and large amounts of ammunition were found inside the car in addition to stolen military uniforms. He claimed the uniforms are used by the gunmen to commit their crimes and then accuse the army of doing them by filming them and sending the footage to the satellite channels.

The source added that pursuing operations of armed terrorist groups in Homs resulted in arresting a number of wanted people and that the investigations continue to reveal all parties involved.

Yup. Those Homs rebels know good gun-craft when they see it. So do many gun shops in the US, who are also armed terrorists being supplied by Israel.

Hey if your enemy makes good guns and you can get them... (looking at it from the Slammie side). There doesn’t look like any Israeli conspiracy here.

If they are, good on ‘em! As for us, stop sending guns to Mexico and start sending them to Homs.

If Israel wanted to surreptitiously send weapons to support rebels, do think they don’t have warehouses full of captured non-Israeli guns? Trust me; every government has a cache of plausibly deniable weapons they can send to support just about anybody. If the Israelis did this, they’d send Turkish made guns. Which, by-the-way, may suggest that the Turks sent Israeli made guns. Sorry, that’s the way the game has been played since the Romans Balkanized the Balkans by raiding one tribe and leaving evidence that it was done by another tribe.

So if they find a 1911, I guess it will mean the USA is involved too? Uniforms? You can order them over the internet. With the abundance of AK 47’s out there why would Israel even bother to send them their weapons when they have stock piles of captured weapons.

Israel is a major vendor of ammunition and arms. Turkey buys much of it for their military as does Egypt, etc.

It is believed that the Muslim Brotherhood sold or just supplied arms to the militants in Homs. The source of the arms was believed to be Egypt but could have been bought from Turkey.

The prevalence and movement of weapons in the Mid East is wholesale, gun running is a generations old family business all over.

Thanks Eleutheria5.

Yeah, y’know, because the Israelis were behind the whole thing. /s

Soon, even those who know in their hearts why they were protesting will blame foreign agents for fomenting the whole thing.
