You are obviously wearing Perry-colored glasses. The tuition deal for illegals does two things: it lets the immigrants know that we are here to HELP them, even though they have broken the law; and it thus acts as a magnet to bring more illegals in. Conservatives uphold the law and do not bend it.

Perry is toast. As Drudge said: "Perry Doubles Down on Illegals." Bad move. Game, set, match.

How ironic...

you said “Palin/Cain - Just might be the largest landslide in U.S. history.”

Ironic: “mcCain/Palin” = “Palin/Cain” lol

I agree I would definately love the Palin/Cain ticket and would support it 100%

I liked him all along, supported his various announcements in the last few months - along with other other conservatives in the ring, etc, I am officially supporting HERMAN CAIN now as a result of this debate. Herman will be the Conservative to stop Mitt Romney who will probably enter solid front runner status, as Perry begins to fade--in my humble opinion. There must be a stop Romney movement, and I think barring the entry of Sarah Palin--as I dont think she will run, Herman Cain is the one to do it. The establish will go full guns for Romney, we gotta head it off at the pass.

"I really, really like Cain, but he will never win, because of Obama."

Just curious - why do you think that "O" has anything to do with his nomination, or his winning?

This was written by another Freeper, we can only hope it is correct:

Mrs. Palin is remaining quiet....she is waiting....she knows her battle plan....she knows her timing.....she is learning....studying the opposition....guarding the “cubs”....waiting quietly with an occasional “roar” (like the comments at the Iowa State Fair).....reconnoitering the challengers from within and the enemY from without.....studying weaknesses....building and conserving her strength....endlessly practicing....reading...honing her skills.....waiting.....waiting.....
This war has not yet begun. What has been seen of the other candidates to date has been nothing but minor and irrelevant skirmishing. Candidates in...candidates out....candidates winning....candidates losing.....candidates saying silly things.....candidates saying cogent, insightful things....
It is a very very long way to next November. There is no need to rush. In her mind’s eye, Mrs. Palin smiles knowingly and remembers the words of Napolean, “Never interupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” and General Patton, “Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy. We are going to go through him like crap through a goose; like shit through a tin horn!”
When she arrives, you can count on total war. She has learned how to fight. She does not spin; she does not back away from principles; she means exactly what she says...and says exactly what she means. She builds a base of support because of who and what she is....not because of who or what she panders to.
Patience.....patience....
Wait for it!
And keep the faith....

Thanks, that’s the most concise explanation I’ve seen on this.

Hopefully it will sink in with those here who are still in denial.

Right now Frank Luntz’s focus group is giving a debate win to Myth Romney. But Willard is still no conservative. People need to do their homework.

Perry will lose some support.

Hopefully he will recover quickly.

The Kenyan will pull an LBJ and drop out. F&F, Solyndra, LightSquared and the Palestinian issue, even discounting the ecomedy, are too much for him. It’s Mitt vs. the Hilldebeast. Yecch. Acccckkkk. Barrrrfff. Electing A truly conservative Congress is even more critical now, to keep the next White House turkey in check.

Well, Frank Luntz has declared the election over, Romney wins. Sigh. Perry was definitely terrible tonight. If he can’t put 3 sentences together and tell the world who Romney really is, maybe he should drop out. I surely hope somebody like Herman Cain gets some traction. Who knows, maybe I’ll forgive Newt Gingrich for his global warming idiocy, if I think he has a chance to stop Romney. I’d like to see Palin give it a shot. Maybe if Perry keeps stumbling around, she will.
