How about doctors and patents decide what’s best for their own health instead of government.

I am so sick of this issue. We have so many important things to consider, and people keep beating and beating and beating this dead, dead horse. How many times do people have to bring this up?

Thanks mike. He was selected (and Romney) by the Bilderbergers. They obviously liked their “style” of governing else he/they wouldn’t be in the race. Romney gave them romneycare. What will Perry give them?

I don’t care one way or the other.

If he gets the nod vs. Obama, he’ll be getting my vote.

If Sarah gets the nod, she’ll get my vote.

Same for Mitt.

Guardisil doesn’t mean a hill of beans to me in light of my country being taken over by democrat commies.

I am way more concerned with his illegal alien free for all than the vaccine. Although the vaccine is horrible too. Any intelligent person would not have signed this without proper testing. He screwed the pooch on that one for sure.

Would y’all give a pass to Obama if he said Obamacare was a mistake, or if it had not passed Congress?

It is what it is Perry folks. The man is not a conservative. He’s better than O but still pushing left.

Don't forget that at the time, his former Chief of Staff was a lobbyist for Merck and his Chief of Staff at the time was the mother-in-law of the woman who headed a group called Women in Government, which Merck used to push Gardasil in various states across the country.

But of course, this is all blah blah 'dead horse' or blah blah opt out or blah blah Mitt Romney or blah blah Sarah won't run or blah blah Rick hates cancer.

If you want another interesting one, check out the Thrombovision debacle. It's like a micro-Solyndra except they didn't bother with the whole charade of pretending they'd get the money back.

On a side note, has there ever been a worse name for anything than Thrombovision?

I found that Perry has his very own version of Obama's Rezko land scandal too. Funny, huh?

Vanity Response:

(1) Gardasil should have been mandatory with the “opt-out” provision;

If it wasn’t mandatory with opt out, insurance would not have covered it.

(2) No big deal because the Texas legislature killed the Executive Order;

I think that is true.

(3) as Perry says today, he made a mistake, should have made it “opt-in.”

Sounds to me as if he learned from the mistake. That is what I expect of responsible human leaders. Same as Reagan.

“Now comes word that Perry’s top donor was the Republican Governors Association”

He got less than one 50th of the money donated. He managed one of 50 states and not all of those had Republican Governors.
So, NO BIG DEAL.

“and that Merck began donating to RGA when Perry became its head.”

If he squeezed money out of Merck for the RGA, great.

"Now comes word that Perry's top donor was the Republican Governors Association and that Merck began donating to RGA when Perry became its head.

They starting donating in 2006. Perry did not become the head until 2008.

They have donated apprx 380k from 1996 to 2011. (works out to about 25k a year). Perry's own Texas contributors have donated apprx 20 million to the RGA so the fact the RGA is his major contributor is not surprising.

All of this old BS is being pushed by the Texas personal injury Lawyers.

They HATE Perry over the tort reform laws.
