Perry looks like a George W. Bush replay to me!
After watching the entire debate, I was left with the exact same feeling. While we view ourselves as the party of God-fearing patriotic small government conservatives, the left views us as crony country club fat cat capitalists. If we waste this opportunity of a failed Obama presidency to elect a Perry or a Romney ... then they were right and we were wrong.

We do not need another Professional Politician backed by a powerful Political Machine.
We need leaders committed to truth, honesty, and the welfare of the United States and the American People--not to their own welfare and ambitions.
There is an enormous difference between (1) Perry and Romney and (2) Cain, Palin, and Bachmann!

Ron Paul will get us nuked by Iran.
Bachmann, who I like overall, just isn’t ready. She’s too naive on some issues.
Palin isn’t running, and probably won’t.
