It was nice to see her avoiding the ad-libs that have led to so many of her gaffes, and just stay on message. I hope she can keep it up.

Many ecofreaks support the pResident but I think the real story is the high buck contributors that seem to want to tear us down. The Saudies and Soros seek high prices to provide us with non American energy. The ecofreaks are so full of drugs and alcohol that they can't even figure out that they are being used.

Michele...better mean what she says. Words mean things, and eliminating a federal agency are big words...and not easily accomplished.

Pete Sessions was elected to Congress from my district in the R sweep of '94. At the time there was a lot of talk about eliminating the EPA and other agencys...we were excited and expectations ran high in hopes that the new congress would set about to do that.

During one of the first town hall meetings that Sessions had, I believe at the Lake Highlands high school, I asked him which one of the agencys would be the first to be eliminated.

He looked at me and said these exact words:..."that's absurd"...dismissing me like I brought snakes into the room.

People like Sessions, while being a pretty good Conservative over the years are not going to have anything to do with any radical downsizing of the government.

We will have to replace long time embedded Republican establishment people with new people who have a different view of how government ought to work.

Sessions has since moved to another district where he took out the nasty 'rats John Bryant and later, Martin Frost. I hope that this time some courageous Tea Party Conservative will challenge him in the primaries...I may just go over there and help retire Pete Sessions and replace him with someone who will vote to get rid of the EPA.

I went to a one room school 1947 thru spring of 1952.

I figured out the enviros were killing this country long ago. Michelle is right, but she needs to keep hammering the topic.

Snail Darter
Fish no one has ever seen
Turtles in the desert—millions of acres of desert
Burrowing owls in the same desert
I could go on & on.

I think she means what she says. She stood firm on not raising the debt ceiling, and she has stood up for Conservative values even as she was glittered by the "peace-loving", "non-violent", and "tolerant" lefties.

The question, assuming she is elected, is whether we'll also vote in a Congress that will support her.

One has to wonder how much Arab oil money has been poured into Western “Green” groups to keep us addicted to foreign oil.

At your next town hall meeting (or what ever its called)...

Ask!... Which federal agency or agencies are you willing to ELIMINATE?...
Video of this extravaganza would be appreciated..

**NOTE: This should especially be asked of republicans but also of democrats..

Thats exactly what I mean...unless she has the support of Congress, her tough words are just that...tough words.

I don't think that she can just issue an executive order on stuff like this and have it stick more than a day or two. The Congress can override an executive order at any time...so an executive order is only in effect as long as the Congress allows it to be....or forgets about it.

That being said...Michele's tough words have snared me. She is my man...she will have my vote in the primaries just because she has the balls to say out loud that the EPA is history.

I know, too that a bunch of the old establishment R's head exploded when she said that.

While I agree with Michele and would cheer her election, it isn't necessary.

All that has to happen is that the Republican-led Congress simply defund the EPA.

It can happen right now with no fanfare, no hassle - just defund the damn thing. Put no lines in the budget for them.

And NLRB, Planned Parenthood, ACORN, Obamacare and a host of other big-brother agencies.

Just DEFUND THEM ... NOW! What are you Repubs waiting for?

It was nice to see her avoiding the ad-libs that have led to so many of her gaffes.

It's been my take that her gaffes were caused primarily by a lazy speechwriter(s) who didn't bother researching historical facts diligently enough.

She’s absolutely correct, and she said the other day that gas would be below $2/gal if she is elected—I believe her. All we have to do is open up our resources to exploration, drilling, and production, prices will drop like a rock. As is, we are simply redistributing our wealth to the rest of the world—that’s by design, I might add. Drill here, drill now.
