The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 20% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -24 (see trends).
That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for President Obama, a level previously reached just once last September.

Obama must be following the stockmarket trend. As Cramer would yell, “whats not to like?”
So ? the trend continues to spiral downward ?
adding up to 64, what about the other 36 Percent?
Here is a link comparing the Texas economic model to the California economic model.
Obama endorses the failed California model. Perry endorses the Texas model, which has worked in spite of federal policies which oppose it.
Truly, not much of a contest.

Time for one of them razzle-dazzle speeches, Barry.
The strong disapprovers will be the pool from which Repub activists and contributors will come.
The thing to watch is the "total approve" column, which has been in the 43-45% range since Aug 9. If that "total approve" trends below 40%, look for Obama and the Dems to undergo a severe panic attack. If "total approve" is at or below 40% on election day, it will be a debacle for the Dems.
Yes -100 November 2012.
44% feel strongly against, 20% feel strongly pro, the other 36% is lukewarm either pro or anti.
Strongly disapprove, strongly approve numbers. The other 36% have a less tempered opinion on Zero’s failure. (Overall 55% disapprove - 44% approve)
Keep in mind that the strongly opinionated are more likely to get out there and vote.
The number’s great - the trendlines are even better.
I want to be sure that you see this. I hope it will brighten you day.
It would be an interesting chart to map Obama’s approval index against Bush’s during his first four years.
I ran into a family member last night who told me about the early reports that Kha-Daffy had been deposed. I half jokingly told him that Obama was going to take full credit for this, and to say that he did so “from this very ice cream shop”.
I’ll be danged if when they caught up with Barry for his statement he wasn’t in line to get ice cream.
That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for President Obama, a level previously reached just once last September. By way of comparison, President Bush had ratings near the end of his second term in the minus 30s.
A 2-1/2 year Bowbama comparison with an eight year Bush comparison? Hardly equivalent...
Watching American Idull.
Obama’s problem is that the foreign policy successes (Bin Laden, and possibly Libya) will do him no good if the economy is still in a shambles. Those who don’t trust him on foreign policy are not going to change their votes because of a Hollywood movie. If the economy hasn’t improved by August 2012 his only hope will be the implosion of his Republican opponent. A billion dollar personal attack campaign, coordinated with unlimited support from ABC, CBC, NBC, PBS, their cable affiliates, plus the unions, Soros, etc., is going to make it a close race no matter who wins the GOP nomination and no matter how bad the economy is doing.
I follow this almost every day. Oddly, his numbers usually go up when he goes on a vacation with the family. Not this time, Barry.
This is an unprecedented slide of 14 continuous days of -20 or worse (better.) Now today's -24 ties his worst rating ever. He is not going to recover from it.
Isn’t -24 one of those “new lows” we have been hearing so much about.
