New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is reportedly conducting focus groups to prepare for a presidential bid in 2012.
"If Christie chooses to run, he would have wide support within the party and become the likely frontrunner for the GOP nom," Alter tweeted earlier.

NOT
“Christie to Test 2012”
I thought 2012 was his weight!
FWIW, Christie flatly denied the assertions of this news article.
I don’t think he will become the front runner any time soon.
He probably would start off at about 10% and be in fourth place until Sarah declares.
Oh great. Another RINO in the pack.
Ofcourse he, don’t they all. How long did Perry swear he wasn’t going to run. I don’t believe Paul Ryan’s denial either.
Ann Coulter just had an orgasm. ;-)
In 1800 Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr were the tied candidates for President. I can’t recall either one being grotesque in appearance.
Stay where you’re at boy .
ya the northeastern elites want him to run, not us rubes
lol. I should have said 1800’s when that fat huge rotund guy Taft was voted in....or was it early 1900’s...Either way there will never be another president that fat. It just won’t happen. If Christie were to lose 200 pounds he might have a chance....of course he would have to brush up on conservative beliefs which his is also lacking.
I’d kind of enjoy a RINO fight.
The new Grover Cleveland....
Me too, let all the RINOS run and the can split the RINO vote, and a conservative will win :-)
Hamlet finally gets off his rear end. Too bad Chris, the moment has passed. If you had done this three months ago it probably would have been yours.
1909-1913 (eleceted 1908)
Taft was severely overweight to the point that he became stuck in the bathtub in the White House several times, prompting the installation of a new bathtub capable of holding all of the men who installed it- a truth the White House denied until it was torn out years later. At 6 feet, and weighing over 350 pounds (159 kg), Taft was the heaviest President.
Oh my.....these guys are scared to death of Rick Perry on both sides of the aisle...RINO CHRISTIE...fool some of the people some of the time...but not the people all of the time...we in the South won’t accept a Northeastern Republican Yankee....in Texas that a dem to us...
As long as they ALL lose.
