Thousands of euro of Irish taxpayers money has been spent building a wooden temple that will be ceremonially burnt to the ground at a hippy festival in America next month.
As the nation faces yet another austerity budget, the Irish Mail on Sunday can reveal that 9,000 has been given towards building the Temple Of Transition a giant timber structure that will be torched at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert next month.

So....
It turns out that we are more like Europe than many people though.
Our government also does a lot of daffy s**t like this with taxpayers money.
Such mentally ill people trying to force some meaning into their pathetic worthless lives using productive people’s money.
The people who attend this cr*p are ones like bambi who dedicate their lives to Lucifer—they are like the Kissinger/Bush/Rockefeller Bohemian Club attendees—massive cult worshippers who indulge in homosexuality. They hate Christianity, want it destroyed, and are destroying all that is good and moral in America—destroying the Rule of Law and twisting the meaning and intent of our Constitution into something written by Satan.
They did it to burning London and now onward to America.
It’s amazing how hippies and lefties feel the need to celebrate their garbage on other people’s dime. Why can’t the hippies coming to this pay for the even themselves? Why does the government have to pay for them to release themselves or whatever the garbage it is they are spouting?
A “hippy festival”? Excuse me: what year is this?
I was at a campground with a group (NOT the burning man crowd) and one of the men who worked for the campground said they hosted the burning man group in winter.
The first year they were there (the burning man people) they had to call him in to show them how to start a campfire....not a one of them knew how....
It’s not a hippie festival.
It is just an enormous gathering of young people that features lots of nudity, public sex, drug abuse, outlandish costumes, and ear-splitting music.
Oh wait...
If Woodstock happened 42 years ago, how come we can still smell it?
