Welcoming guests at the annual White House Iftaar party, US President Barack Obama said, Islam has always been part of the American family and Muslim Americans have long contributed to the strength and character of our country in all walks of life.
Attended by some 100 special invited guests including ambassadors of mostly Muslim countries and eminent Muslim academicians and community leaders, Akram Syed of the National Association of Indian Muslims was among the few Indian-Americans to attend the high-profile annual event at the White House.
Other special guests included families of Muslim victims of the 9/11 attacks, as well as Muslim members of the US Armed Services.

The first influence of Muslims was going to war with them to stop pirating our shipping and kidnapping our sailors.
After that, the first mosque wasn’t built in the US until well into the 1900s.
We certainly owe the existence of our Navy due to the Islamic Barbary Pirates.
Remember when Omoslem’s plane, Air Force One, strafed Ground Zero?
And all the bankers were running for their lives, b/c Omoslem’s 747 was apparently doing another 9-11 suicide attack toward their office buildings?

Think I figured out what he meant. Muslim slavers sold many of the black slaves to Americans back in the day. Thus, making Muslims part of our history.
It's no wonder Obama has an 80% approval rate for Muslims here in the states. Can't believe a sitting President could state such foolish comments about these people. Must be he can't remember he's the CIF at war with how many Muslim countries now? and ramping up the retoric with Syria as well. He's so accustomed to lying now that he even believes his lies.
