LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Will the Children’s Television Workshop give way to same-sex puppet love?
An online campaign is calling for the producers of TV’s “Sesame Street” to allow characters Bert and Ernie to get married in an attempt to “put an end to the bullying and suicides of LGBT youth”, according to the group’s Facebook page.
The petition letter adds that “[w]e are not asking that Sesame Street do anything crude or disrespectful by allowing Bert & Ernie to marry”, suggesting that the show “even add a transgender character to the show…in a tasteful way”.

I would really like to hear the best argument these pervert maniacs can come up with to jsutify their claim that marrying bert and ernie will somehow stop bullying of perverted youts.

Some twenty-something b*tch reporterette on CBS’ NYC affiliate is “covering” this too. Why? Because “it’s all over Facebook...and Twitter too!” When the disgraceful “report” was over, an anchor back in studio asked “children don’t understand about sexuality, so why even bring this up?” To that, the other anchor staff had a stunned silence, with the weather guy then saying “send cards and letters” to the offending questioner, who probably will be sent to CBS re-education camp very soon. The FEAR to even question the radical homo agenda was reminiscent of Stalin or ‘1984’. This nation is finished.

As an aside, I have to agree that Bert and Ernie are an unlikely couple. It would be like Bugs and Daffy or Spongebob and Squidward getting married.
