And we've been hearing since December 2009 that Obama is going to focus like a laser on the jobs problem. So far... zip. The US gross domestic product grew at LESS THAN 1% in the first half of 2011 and job creation can't even keep up with population growth.

So for Obama these days, it's all jobs, jobs, jobs. But look at the jackwagon's track record:

It's funny how personally people take the destruction of their finances.

Being broke gets to be such a personal thing.

It's no longer an ideological college debate over coffee with fellow students.

Halting immigration would stop the drain on SS, SSI, disability and extended family applications for benefits and would ease the SS situation some. The amount of foreign aid taken in toto still wouldn't even make a dent in the debt or in the budget in a meaningful way.

One elephant in the room is Medicare and Social Security. Wastefulness by Medicare providers and recipients and a whopping looting of SS for SSI and Disability payments (I read it is at 25% of total SS payments).

When you couple this with the REAL gargantuan in the room, entitlements in the form of EBT, Section 8, EITC, AFDC, WICs, SCHIP, NCLB, NO FEDERAL TAXES for half of America, etc. you have a full blown debt bomb.

If these two behemoths are not slain, there will no respite.
