Obama is trying to promote a panic in the markets so that the GOP will cave and let the Democrats raise taxes on EVERYONE by rescinding the Bush tax cuts. That’s also why he was scaring the elderly by threatening to take their SS checks away. He is playing Chicago thug politics at its most despicable.
They are sly, cunning and coniving but if they got all the politicans in the District of Corruption in one place they still couldn’t understand what needs to be done.
IF the answer to all the problems we face were presented to them on stone tablets by God Almighty Himself they wouldn’t do it because it does not help them insure their phony baloney jobs and the satisfaction of their pitiful vanity by power granted by others whom they loathe.
We have come to that pitiful point where the unwashed welfare, dependent masses must be satisfied or you don’t get to come back to fight another day. The only way to correct our mess is to deal a final fatal blow to the waste and corruption in our spending... that must include dramatic and painful changes to medicare, medicade and social security... though Spit. Leave the old folks alone, the proposal for change to anyone under 55 is the way to go. If that were done the unwashed dependent masses would have to riot for a return to their comfort at the expense of the taxpaying workers. I don’t think they could muster the ambition to do it.
Hang tough GOP. The Democrats on are the defense now. Drive the ball down the field. We may be in the fourth quarter but there are over 12minutes on the clock.

Leave Cut, Cap and Balance as the only bill on the table. Make the Senate Democrats vote against it again (they won't) and make Obama veto it (he MIGHT).
But the lasting damage to the Democrats will be worth it. Their caucus fractured and in disarray.
