Paul Ryan did the samething this morning on Morning Joe.. John Heileman said what the Republicans were doing was bad politics, but Ryan said he was more intersted in GOOD Policy rather than politics.. You should have seen heileman’s face..

Walsh for prez. As usual, the limey lib Bashir could not keep up with logic. For someone whose claim to fame is interviewing Michael Jackson, you’d think he would keep up with saner people.

...and Martin Bashir calls himself a news journalist? Talk about a guy with a political agenda.

Congressman Walsh did what so few Republicans have the guts to do, tell the truth and not just accept the liberal Democrat premise that on August 2nd the U.S. will default on it’s financial obligations because there won’t be any money to pay them. Joe Walsh rightly called it what it was - A lie. Bashir doesn’t know how to deal with a Republican politician that won’t back down and doesn’t pretend that Obama (or, for that matter, Martin Bashire) is worthy of respect. We need a whole lot more of this - and we’ll get it if and when Sarah Palin begins her campaign for the presidency (sorry, I couldn’t resist).

Well, I watched the entire video. I wouldn’t say he “decimated” him. He held his own against the Limey scum bag. I wish he’d have torn up his “bloody British” a**.

Bashir quotes what they said and then reads their minds to know what they meant. He kept saying “that's not what they said”, yet the quotes he quoted weren't what he said they said. Does that make sense? Well, at least as much sense as Martin Bashir made. What a FOOL.

Wouldn’t exactly have called that a decimation.

Nobody has concisely summarized the issue so that when these guys get to the mike, they say something that doesn’t sound like ‘blah, blah, blah’.

This gent almost got there by ALMOST implying that the media is getting expert opinion on the debt ceiling from the people that actually perpetrated the crisis in the first place.

He could have been much more concise at saying,

“I put zero weight on any opinion coming from Goldman, Morgan Stanley, or for that matter the ratings agencies. If they were really experts, then how in the name of economics were these masters of the universe caught holding over $45 trillion dollars worth of securities backed by $750,000 mortgages held by illegal alien strawberry pickers making $14,000 a year?

I know the law, and the law says that there’s money for those checks to hit those mailboxes. Now, if the President and Mr. Reid want to act on their own to STOP those checks, that is 100 percent completely up to them. I, however, don’t see a LEGAL way they can prevent those checks from going out.

President wants to fix a debt crisis by raising the limit on his credit card. That’s like helping an alcoholic by giving him a fifth of vodka. I think that’s a metaphor any poor dumb American that the President thinks just doesn’t understand this issue can understand.”
