If you loved Wednesday's Twitter Town Hall...and you know our feelings on how that went down...then rev up your Tweets for Twitter Republican Presidential Debate. Noon to 1:30 p.m. West Coast Time on Wednesday July 20. To be moderated by infamous toe-sucker and pollster/Fox News analyst/former Clintonista Dick Morris. Sponsored by the 350,000-online-member TeaParty.net, you can check it out at TheTeaParty.net or here.
Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, former Godfather Pizza CEO Herman Cain, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Michigan Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI), former Minneosota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and former PA Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) are in. Organizers are waiting to hear from the others.
"Maybe the Twitter limit of 140 characters to each tweet will make them get to the point and answer the question," Morris said.
Ho-ho, Dick. Surely you jest.
Here's how TheTeaParty.net's Dustin Stockton explained to us how the format will go down.
Each candidate will have three minutes to introduce themselves via a pre-recorded video of their choice. Then the group will be asked a several topic and discuss each for five minutes.
Then, the online audience can Tweet a question to a particular candidate. The questions will be shepherded by Tea Party organizers around the country and fed to Morris.

Was the President invited? They should have an empty podium with an empty suit in it. Invite him, let him refuse to attend.
SFGate... Republicans...
This does not compute. I wonder how many Republican candidates know that.
It would be fitting if the only note to come across would be, Tweet Tweet.
It doesn’t add up either. Might as well have Krauthammer, Meghan McCain, Scott Brown and every other RINO be on the moderator board.
This will be accompanied by advanced release of Dick’s new cyber-book : How to moderate a Republican Tea Party Debate,
and Why It’s the Most Important Thing Anyone Could do between Now and Election Day”
Is this satire? Are any of the candidates really so stupid that they would participate in this?
Demolition derby. Sarah is wise to stay out until all the havoc and wreckage has ended.
I hear ya.
If I was gonna run for President , I’d do it somewhere else.
Dick Morrrris, Dick Oooobama, same dick, different size of pants.
Another place in time, such as, after July 26th, and before Labor Day.
I’m SO tired of hearing about Twitter. Don’t have it, don’t use it, no account, no interest. Is that 140 characters?
#Winning
I agree.
