I believe it is as I just returned from a trip to various shopping areas all swamped with “migrants” leaping out at the cars in some cases not just asking for work, but demanding it, or some blatantly ask for money.
Go to the gas station, and in broken English, and I mean BROKEN they demand money, and say it’s because I’m rich. I rented a Home Depot truck, and was refueling it to return it, so I’m obviously rich. /s

What is the kommie Seattle Times talking about? I just passed by our local Home Depot in Hollywood and there are more mexicans outside the entrance than ever before. I get more physical contact at the entrance of a building than a typical Hollywood dive bar.

So, border crime helps keep down border crossing. I say we make the whole border one lawless town populated by career criminals and periodically drop small arms and ammo in via parachute.
No, the problem hasn’t been illegal aliens for quite a while. Clinton decimated the Border Patrol and then came 9/11, they moved a huge amount of BP to the northern border and the BP was even more short-handed. The illegals poured through like water. Bush recruited and trained thousands of BP.
Since before Obama was elected the illegal traffic, as in illegals coming for jobs, slowed to a trickle.
The problem now is the drug cartels, they are just coming across with drugs and then attempting to get back to courier another load and getting to the bigger cities to ply their poison.
Now the BP is dealing with more dangerous criminals than ever. We used to never be afraid of illegals but I would be now.
It is harder than ever for illegals to obtain jobs and the economy in Mexico grew 10% so there are jobs at home.
Our problem now is the illegals that poured in after 9/11 and who the libs want to pander to.
Illegal immigration grinds to a halt.. All the ones that want to come are here.
Good. Now if we can just convince more beautiful young Brazilian women to immigrate.
the more USA gets like Mexico, the less attractive it will be to come to.
