I will go and get my pinglist and hit it.
FYI..on FOX this morning, happened to catch a jury consultant who has been in the courtroom everyday. Female..Big black rims..don't recall her name...she said that by observing them, she felt there were 7 for conviction, 4 for aquittal....she felt that the IT guy would most likely be the jury foreperson..
If they're that divided..we're looking at at least a week of deliberation, and if they come back deadlocked..the judge will send them out again for another few days..
MAKE IT STOP!!!
I just started paying attention to this story this weekend, on the live thread of the trial summations. Thanks for posting this thread.
For those of us who don’t have time to follow the TV TRIAL SOAPS, but have heard enough on the regular news about it to be curious about the whole thing, could you please summarize with respect to the following perception of what it seems must have happened: Woman wants to go out partying, can’t get anybody to babysit, goes out anyway, places baby in trunk, ties baby up and duct tapes baby’s mouth shut so nobody hears the ruckus in the trunk while Mom is inside the Club partying, baby dies in trunk, Mom tries a coverup. Do I have it about right? Or not? (I would really like to know so I don’t have to waste time trying to figure it out from the entertainment and mainstream media’s convoluted reporting after a verdict is announced)
Gee, thanks. That jury better get back before the NFL season starts. Only one channel dedicated 24/7 to this worthless story will be devastating to the mind-numbed.
Wont be any news until Jury is ready with verdict or that they are sending the Judge questions.
I only watched the prosecution closing arguments; I didn’t see the closing arguments of the defense.
Now I’m searching for them on youtube and only finding tiny snippets.
Does anyone have a link to the defense closing arguments?
Per local news the jury has ordered lunch to be brought in to the deliberation room- want to keep working.
It’s embarrassing to be roped in again to another trial of the day. I swore off after O.J., but here I am following quite closely.
Two of the jurors picked could hang the jury. One is reluctant to “judge anyone else”, and the other said he couldn’t impose a death penalty. Both jurors were coaxed into serving anyway and brought around to agreement and “accepted”, gleefully I’m sure, by the defense. You can imagine the possibilities with them, or with reluctant others who were not so vocal but are also serving.
I haven’t followed this case closely - just off and on for the past couple of days. I have an observation and question. My observation is that this girl is full of rage and I hope that they are prepared for what she may do if the verdict is not to her liking. I’d have several guards around her and then a padded room ready to go. My question is did she have a boyfriend who didn’t want the child? That is a common reason for women of her kind to kill their children.
A verdict already? That was fast. Betcha guilty on all counts.
Thank God, maybe now there will be some focus on the 16,000 other murders in the U.S. this year.
Shave her head and warm-up Old Sparky.
Thank God this diversion and total crap show is done! I don’t even know or care what the verdict is.
gotta be guilty to be that fast unless it had been a sham trial
which it was not
she may get life but I bet death
her family are odd...no excuse ..but it looks like the whole thing was to keep her from death penalty
I pray to God Almighty that the innocent child, Caylee, be given the justice that she deserves.
For those who need a link.......verdict to be read @ 2:15 Eastern

Nancy Grace is fresh out of the makeup chair and has her best helmet on.
Though I personally think Casey Anthony’s guilty as sin, I have a sense the jury’s going to convict her of: 1. Manslaughter; 2. Failure to report death of a child; and 3. Improper treatment of human remains.
With a CSI mindset permeating the minds of jurors these days, I’d be very surprised if she’s convicted of Murder One.
Guilty - 1st Degree
