Obama’s ineligibility: It is time to create a genuine opposition (Dim bulb Dick Durbin video)
Canada Free Press ^ | June 30, 2011 | Lawrence Sellin

Posted on 06/30/2011 6:37:54 AM PDT by Ordinary_American

The 2012 election is underway and it will be a street fight, whose outcome will determine if the United States survives as a republic.

It is futile writing to Congress for the redress of grievances. They are only interested in getting elected, not in representing their constituents.

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) is the Senate Majority Whip, the second highest position in the Democratic Party leadership in the Senate.

To me Dangerous Dick is indicative of how far the Congress has degenerated.

(snip)

Durbin thinks that it is acceptable for an illegal immigrant to become President.

If you recall, it was also Durbin who compared American soldiers to Nazis.

To the untrained eye Durbin may seem like he is either an idiot or insane. He is not.

You see, like his other pals in Congress, Durbin expects to be Senator-for-life along the lines of Haiti’s Baby Doc Duvalier.

Durbin and the Democrats don’t really care about illegal immigrants as future professionals, but as future voters.

By giving illegal immigrants amnesty before the 2012 election, the Democrats believe that they can guarantee an election victory for Obama and regain control of Congress.

Their aim is permanent political power, a one-party state like Robert Mugabe’s Zimbabwe.

And the feeble and impotent Republicans will acquiesce in the hope that they will be the last ones eaten by the crocodile.

A Dem pollster called me in 2004 advocating 1 party rule and asking what I thought.

After my retort, HE LAUGHED.

600 private jets came to the 0bama inaugural. I remember the double rows of them from a picture....that I can’t find anymore.

Two comments:

(1) It is a sad state of affairs indeed, that Mr. Sellin must resort to publishing his article in a CANADIAN journal.

(2) The answer is simple in its concept, but almost iimposswible in its implementation: Term Limits. But then, if you were a sitting Senator or Representative, would YOU voluntarily give up all those lovely perks?

BTW, I am for term limits from City Councils to the United States Congress (Courts included).

Durbin thinks that it is acceptable for an illegal immigrant to become President.

Probably because he knows, or suspects, that 0bama falls into this category.

I fully agree the 2012 election is for national survival. Conservatives can’t just win. It has to be a landslide in local, state, and federal elections— before the illegal immigrants gain voting rights.

There is so much that needs to be fixed.

I was about to say that sometimes when I read criticism of the United States from a Canadian or foreign paper I get angry.

But when a guy is right , he is right.

Our Congress sucks. Both parties.

I have commented on this a couple of times awhile back. If we don't take care of Obama right now and in public, what they are setting up is an anchor baby that speaks no English and waves a Mexican flag is now eligible for POTUS because Obama had a Kenyan father. They might get elected with California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, New York, Florida, and a few other "blue" states thrown in with white guilt. Abandoning the Constitution is a serous thing if you want America to remain America.

Constantly harping on the BC thing will get you labeled a kook, but nobody will discuss the real eligibility problem. We've known from the beginning his dad was not a citizen, but the news was fixated over non existent or fake BC's. The law was clear from the beginning. We didn't need to see his BC, we already knew he was ineligible. If they put up a questionable dude now, they will say Obama did it, why can't this guy? It was there in front of everybody, why get upset now? Racist!!!

Correct, but it's not just the news. A lot of FReepers fell for it, and continue to fall for the BC distraction.

The DREAMERS were chanting EDUCATE NOT DEPORT or some such baloney in full volumous chanting outside the GOP offices at hearing. Notice how demanding they are skipping humility altogether for not being deported but demanding EDUCATION. What a bunch of total losers!

Not a criticism of you (I agree with the part about foreign press criticism of the USA), but to clarify: Mr. Sellin is an American, retired U.S. Army. My point being that is is a shame a U.S. citizen must go to a foreign paper to post his opinion.

On your other point, I am in total agreement.
