FULL TITLE: Married teacher arrested for cyberstalking after 'she sent boy, 13, more than 200 texts begging him for a date'
A married teacher has been arrested and suspended from her post after allegedly cyberstalking one of her 13-year-old students.
Megan Mantooth, 26, allegedly bombarded the boy, a pupil at Burgaw Middle School in North Carolina, with more than 200 text messages, many of which were inappropriate. Elizabeth Graham, the boy's mother, told police Mantooth - who has a three-year-old daughter - was trying to arrange dates with her son.
One message read: 'When I do finally get to see you, I want you to wrap your arms around me and lift me up and spin me around...Will you do that?'
Another said:'I think about u [sic] so much I can't tell between my thoughts and dreams now.'

I’m not sure, the pic doesn’t look too bad, maybe not guilty?
My biggest question is, where were all these teachers when I was in school?
Now as a father of 3 kids, I have this much more stress to add to my day.
Proof lately that teachers are the bottom of the barrel when it come’s to college degree’s and hiring practice...

He sounds nicer than I would be, I have 2 daughters and a son in the middle, if he can’t handle whatever it is, and if boys show up at my door that I don’t like, I’m 100% positive they won’t return to my door *wink*

Hard to believe, but I am advocating a whipping for this teacher! It might put some common sense in her.
You can always answer the door with a pistol in your belt...that is a great hint to tread lightly around your daughters...You are a good dad...:O)
Ok, so I read the headline as “13,200” texts and felt the need to explain that NO ONE is worth that much begging.
Even at 200, NO ONE is worth that much begging. Whatever happened to pride?
She was probably playing with the guy on 2nd Life or some other cyber thing. Decided she was “in love” with him. What on EARTH is the matter with people today for pete’s sake???? Has the ENTIRE world gone insane?
One wonders why we still have tenure and why we don’t demand psychological screening for these people. They are around our kids every day for hours and I don’t think they are even finger-printed or have background checks!!!!
Why do we have to keep getting this news from the uk?
Not defending this gal at all... But I have to ask: Doesn’t anyone ever remember the old saying “Never put anything in writing that you don’t want to show up in court?”
Well, I would answer the door like that, but I lost my kimber 1911 .45 in a tragic hangliding accident over the bermuda triangle... tragic I say.
