Results of a new study suggest that women are less sexually attracted to men who smile, further cementing the axiom that nice guys finish last.
The study found that women were least attracted to smiling, happy men, preferring those who looked proud and powerful or moody and ashamed. On the other hand, men were most sexually attracted to women who looked happy, and least attracted to women who appeared proud and confident.
The study, published Tuesday in the journal Emotion, is the first to show that women are sexually attracted to a brooding hulk, while men are sexually attracted to a smiling beauty.

I think the reason there may be some truth to it is that smiling can be interpreted as a form of submission, which ids what turns most women off.

The group targeted in the survey had to be “Liberal” women!!
They must have showed the women the pix of Bibi and Obama side by side in their early twenties. Smiling Obama I do not want, but grim Bibi looks like a hunka hunka.
When I was a young woman, men were always telling me to smile, why so sad, etc. Pissed the hell out of me.
Me, I like happy, peaceful, stable men like my husband. One set of inner demons in a relationship is more than enough already.
