A certain person told me there had been going on in Nashville, since last Thursday April 28, a one week "Tea Party" meeting for truckers to air their grievances about government overreaching and plan political action. This person intended to be there, but for personal reasons it seems he could not. So I thought I'd try to Google up whatever information I could to see what had been going on -- supposedly Jay Sekulow was intending to be a guest speaker. I'm having a lot of trouble identifying any such event, if it existed at all. My apology in advance for the vanity, but if anyone would know about such a thing FReepers would.

Just received email from resource they are checking in their Memphis terminal to see what they can find out about the event.
If we got 25 to 50 percent of the nations truckers to join the TEA Party and be willing for some civil disobedience, the game would be over.
The hiways are the nations arteries and the jerk politicians in Washington could be brought into line overnight.
Drill here, drill now! Cut regulations on Oil and Gas companies, Build refineries, Nuclear Plants, shut the leftist evironwacko antiamerican groups down for a few years so we can get back on our feet. Get one national blend of gasoline and one for diesel. Ban ethanol.

Got some more lowdown on this — apparently it’s a private thing at a particular truck stop, which is why it hasn’t been blitzed all over the internet or advertised through normal Tea Party channels. That’s their privilege, though IMHO they’re likely to get more support by shouting from the tree tops than by whispering in a well.
Got no response yesterday, but I see you found out what you wanted. If I get anything else in todays emails from that area, I’ll pass it on.
Just came online a few moments ago, checked my email, and found my resource sent me a followup email that nobody in their Memphis facility knew a thing about any meeting, or action in Nashville by truckers.
If it were something along the lines of a major movement then I’m certain they would have known about it. It’s that old thing goes way back if you want something known far and wide “telegraph, telephone, tell a woman, or tell a trucker”. They know what’s going on, and spread the word. A great bunch of people to know.
I was with that same International (USA, Canada, Mexico) trucking company as my resource for ten, and a half years, and my resource has been with them for thirty-three years, and she’s my wife for as long.
Sorry I couldn’t add anything to what you found out on your own about it being a private affair, but at least you found out.
