Obama Golf & Church Service Ratio
Vanity

Posted on 04/26/2011 5:29:28 PM PDT by Sunshine54

Just curious, but does anyone know what the ratio of Obama's attendance to Church is to the number of golf games he's played since becoming President?

Just curious, but does anyone know what the ratio of Obama's attendance to Church is to the number of golf games he's played since becoming President? I tried to Google this question and the first link I found and followed had the message that the question had been removed. I have been wondering if the only thing good to come out of the Obama Presidency is going to be an improved golf game.

Considering the churches he attends, and the kind of preachers he hears, I believe the golf course is the better choice. While playing golf he is not likely to hear black liberation, hate whitey diatribes.

Not only that, he runs up against his personal limitations on every hole.

In all seriousness, it’s along the lines of 32:1 in favor of golf.

I’ve heard reports of him only attending church about 3 times (when not campaigning) but is on his ~65 round of golf.

I’m serious about the question though. Do you know of any website that tracks his Church attendance? I’ve always felt that my own personal Church attendance gave a stabilizing affect to the rest of my life during the week. Kind of like recharging my batteries. I’m interested if our President is utilizing any spiritual tools.

So you’re saying that every time he goes to Church once, he plays golf about 500 times? Ouch!

He has not been reported more than 5 times of even attending a Sunday mass. If he does, it will be reported than this douchebag actually enters church but the fact that the MSM hides the times he goes golfing, then the ratio must be 10 golf to .5 church.

Na, just funny Google results. Frankly, I have no room to talk. I spend far more time at St Mattress by the Springs or St Andrews by the Green than I do real church.

Golf is a kinda church, communing with your own iniquity in a temple of trees. Swearing to God. Realizing your own worthlessness. I would put it right up there with a hair-shirt.

Realizing your own worthlessness.

Do you honestly think he feels that way?

He probably thinks he has the worst golf clubs and golf balls in the history of the game.

I did read somewhere that the family attended church on Easter, but left 30 minutes early to "avoid disrupting the service."

I'd have been embarrassed. Tiptoeing out during the final prayer is one thing, but half an hour??

No, I do not know of such. Sorry.

Why is attending "church" something that many seem to be important for politicians? They aren't elected because of church attendance. I was attending a Methodist church until about age 14, and have only been in two churches since then. One was for my daughter's wedding and the other for my niece's wedding.

I realized at a young age that organized religion was attended by hypocrites who were out getting drunk and committing adultery on Saturday nights and then appearing at the church the next morning to present themselves as pillars of the community to try and draw in more customers to their businesses.

As an adult in my 40s-50s, I was fortunate to belong to a private golf club and my wife and I played two rounds of golf on Sundays whenever weather permitted.

Golf is a great way to relieve tensions and clear one’s mind of pending problems so that later decisions on those problems can be made more rationally.

I don't think Obama has even come close to figuring out what I stated in my previous paragraph!! I have not seen ANY of his decisions to be RATIONAL or for the betterment of America. This person only does what he is told to do by the behind-the-scenes handlers, and raise money for the Dems.
