Do We Just Lie Down and Let Them Fool Us With Trump?
tea party member

Posted on 04/17/2011 8:09:23 AM PDT by reasonisfaith

One of the oldest tricks in warfare is to distract the enemy. The statists are partly succeeding in fooling us this way, with Donald Trump.

Step back, and redefine the battle. It is not a battle only against Obama.

It's a battle against statism and against socialism. If we lose our focus, we go down.

The marxists/statists know that if they can figure out a way to stage one of their own (Trump) against another of their guys (Obama), it will take our attention away from the target, confuse us and divide us.

Evidence: Trump supported Harry Reid against the heart of the tea party, Sharron Angle. Trump wants Hillary to be Commander in Chief. He gives thousands of dollars to the most virulent leftists like that Weiner guy in Congress.

There's more evidence that Trump could be working directly under Hillary Clinton than there is evidence he might actually care about the birth certificate.

Think of the worst business deal, real estate scam, or stock market scheme. Think of Bernard Madoff.

Think of a liberal who is also a very skilled professional salesman. That's Donald Trump for you.

Donald Trump is unpatriotic and unAmerican.

Prove me wrong.

“Can’t. Trump deals with Soros. Even has many freepers fooled.”

Had me fooled...seemed to be saying the right things about Obama. I think we’re getting to know him better...he’s needed to get Obama re-elected. Without him, Obama doesn’t have a prayer, and will probably have to hand off to Hillary for the 2012 ticket.

Who is this “they”?

Nobody is fooled by Trump; nobody should be. If they are: It tells you more about the foolee than the fooler. Nobody should have any delusions as to Trump being a conservative or even an acceptable candidate in the first place. He is neither. And he will not run.

He is a publicity seeker. That’s all. He’s not going to run. And yet...if he does and emerges as the frontrunner, would you then vote for 0bama? Would that be a difficult choice?

I hope we don’t get exercised over this. It’s not worth overthinking, IMHO.

Simple—don’t let Trump gain support, don’t let him fool you, don’t let him run.

Don’t let Trump, a Hillary-linked liberal, think he can steal the nomination from patriotic Americans.

You said exactly what I was going to say.

Trump SAYS all the right things as any good salesman would. But he is a fraud. I applaud him for stirring the pot but he will never be a viable candidate for President, unless he ran as a democrat.

No way in hell I'm falling for it. At the very least, he's for Obamacare/Universal Healthcare Canadian style- a position the Tea Party was polar opposite on. And now Trump is co-opting and fooling Tea Party members????

WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

Go after Obama all you want, Trump. But it will be a col day in hell I'll ever vote for this RINO poser.

Agree 100%. I am not worried or fooled. I doubt he will run and at this early stage the conservative candidate I will likely support has not emerged. In the meantime I am enjoying the mud slinging.

Turn in your Tea Party card then, because no principled Tea Party member would EVER support someone who is for Obamacare.

If this was 2012, I’d be afraid of Trump taking the GOP nomination.

Since it’s 2011, Trump will have plenty of time to implode.

Why did Trump support Harry Reid?

Reid’s comments “This war is lost” probably killed American troops. Do you need a list of reasons why Trump’s support for Reid is enough to fire Trump on the spot?

I don’t have hours to sit here and explain to you why Trump is a scheming leftist plant.

Trump is bringing down Obama. Don’t stop him.

We get it. He is not a conservative. So what? He has more cojones than all the conservative altar boys you love!

Did Rush ask Trump about his statement that if he lost the republican primary nomination he’d run as an independent?
