Trump addresses tea party crowd in Boca Raton (hundreds gathered)

Sounding increasingly like a candidate, Donald Trump repeatedly told a raucous tea party crowd today he has the qualities needed in the White House and the conservative ideals necessary to seal the Republican nomination should he decide to run.

Trump struck familiar themes and talked about his own business acumen in his speech to hundreds gathered at a park here, where his name festooned signs, buttons and T-shirts of supporters. The real estate mogul even talked about the type of people he'd have serve as diplomats and said he was looking forward to releasing his financial disclosures.

"Most very successful people, the kind of people that we need running our country, don't want to be scrutinized and abused," he said. "This is the kind of person that this country must have right now."

He derided President Barack Obama, calling him the worst to occupy the White House in history. He again questioned whether the president was born in the U.S., even though the fact has been affirmed by officials in Hawaii, where Obama was born. And he maligned China, saying the U.S. should take control of Iraqi oil and described American infrastructure as third world.

Trump ticked through a number of issues seen as bedrocks for conservative candidates, saying he is anti-abortion, against gun control and wants to repeal Obama's health care law. Throughout the speech, he portrayed the U.S. as a nation in decline and himself as its potential savior.

If there’s one executive who knows how to manage and thrive in nearly-overwhelming debt, it’s Donald Trump.

One thing I’ll say for Trump. He will back down to no one. He won’t play anyone’s games. He won’t take any you know what from anybody. He will go after Obama with everything. He won’t play nice and do this “I respect him”, “we both want the best”, etc... He won’t play nice like McCain did. He won’t care what anyone says about him. He will hound Obama on the birth certificate, his college grades, Bill Ayers writing his book, etc... Everything. And...Obama’s #1 advantage from 2008 and his #1 edge over every GOP candidate(his billion plus dollars, instantly vanishes against Trump). Trump will call whatever Obama puts on the table and raise him.

Trump hit it out.

“The speech garnered wide applause and chants of “Run, Donald, Run!”

That does not seem true to me. It is a sign of weakness to give money to Dem candidates, just as it is a sign of weakness for a businessman to pay protection money to the mafia. Note these two are really the same thing.

Many of us have seen Trump on the Apprentice and see how he operates. He expects performance. He also expects and respects DIFFERENT IDEAS on how to get something done.

Maybe the key is...you're not just a number with Trump...and he always has high expectations.

Can you spell TEAM...

I am madder than a wet hen. I was preparing to go to the Trump-o-rama in Boca today. I had two appointments for people to come by and look at my house, which I’m trying to sell. The rude weasels never even bothered to call, and I missed my chance at seeing history made.

Talking on Rush's program last week he said he knew the smartest toughest dealmakers in the world. That the Chinese are smart and tough but we have smarter and tougher, in the business world. That the problem has been we send "diplomats" to do the negotiating and the Chinese send their meanest toughest people regardless, who then eat our lunch.

Made a lot of sense, if he can back it up.

That is a snapshot in my mind seeing that report of McCain calling down that elderly man who called Barack a socialist and McCain got really testy.

Before jumping on the bandwagon, listen to Trumps own words...I would still vote for him over obozo, but these words were a real eye-opener to me. And very depressing, since I wanted to believe trump was “one of us”

Don’t believe me. Make up your own mind (trump’s own clips from Mark Levin show):

I just got done watching a bit on a channel on this guy. He said that when he tells someone to do something he expects it to be done. He has enemies all over the place and has destroyed a good many of them.

Palin has enemies all over and has she destroyed any?

The dollar is falling, and globalism is falling with it. Trump just blew the doors off of the rest of ‘em (all). He’s so far ahead that they won’t see him until it’s all over.

I'm still pissed at that loser John “you have nothing to fear from a President Obama, can't say Hussein” McCain.

We had a ton to fear and the worst is coming true.

I can't help but think the power behind the GOP wanted Obama in and this McCain candidacy was just a show....a show that Sarah almost screwed up until the media stepped in.

Bullshipping just like he did to his wife Ivana.

All the while he was cheating on her with his new blond gal who in the end cheated on him.

On to the third wife.
