Nobody injured and some property damaged. The Headline is clearly misleading. This is a relatively minor weather event at an airport which destroyed some airplanes.

From the headline I suspected that there was a crash and that spectators were injured.

NOT BREAKING NEWS

7 Injured In Tent Collapse At Airport

I'm guessing the person with the broken hip and the other six would disagree with you.

Fox news would disagree with you plus several folks that I have talked to that were there. Seven injuries, so far reported.

I agree. Warrants (No Injuries) in title.

“This is a relatively minor weather event at an airport which destroyed some airplanes...”

Ever purchased an airplane?

They are EXTREMELY expensive to purchase and even more expensive to repair.

A single 30+ year old King Air twin in good shape has the same value as 175 new automobiles (Edmunds 2009 value of $28,400). And that's a 30 year old aircraft.

Think of this ‘minor’ disaster as a highway pileup of 2,000 cars. Or more

Lucky only seven folks were injured.

Were you disappointed that the injuries weren't more severe?

I bet people who have aircraft damaged and people who have friends and family there may disagree with you.

Can I interest you in a crash-filled NASCAR race instead?

“From the headline I suspected that there was a crash and that spectators were injured.”

Then stop being a drama queen and you won’t be disappointing and frustrating yourself when no one is killed.

Well said, this is far from a disaster.

Broken hip and some other minor injuries, a few million $ in property damage?

Every Saturday night in every one of the 200 most populated American towns and cities.

You are an idiot pal.
Probably 30,000 folks there to look at all kinds on neat airplane stuff and a very stiff storm hits.
Misleading?
Get real moron.

This was not a minor weather event. There were several people injured at the event including some major injuries. Tornadoes in the area and straight line winds up to 90 mph.

I know this is a couple of days later, but these storms we had were wild. A ton of storm damage, and not just at Sun N’Fun (which is a great show). I saw streets totally flooded with cars floating.

At SNF almost 40 planes were destroyed. If you’ve ever been there, it’s a giant field full of people and planes. Planes flying all over the place in hurricane force winds must have been terrifying.

We lost our porch roof.
