There seems to be no article, either here or at the links.
Has anyone ever looked in the yellow pages to see how churches advertise themselves. Very few of them mention Jesus so why is this a big deal?
Wha’d’ya know? Our society becomes more and more intolerant of the name of Jesus.
Didn’t anyone notice the blindingly obvious, *not* that the ad was banned because it mentioned Jesus, but because it (rhetorically) suggested that Jesus had just passed out on the cross and was later revived, a concept repugnant to most Christians?
In other words, to illustrate what they were saying:
“Was Jesus just a man? Is Christianity fake? Is believing in God stupid? Come to our church and find out!”
They may think it is witty advertising, however a lot of Christians would not think so.
Maybe they should have used the Pagan Goddess Oestre.
This country gets sicker and sicker every day as we draw further and further from the God who made America possible.
Easter is pagan.
War is peace.
Ignorance is strength.
Freedom is slavery.
Many strain out a gnat and swallow a camel. If one claims to be Christian, the Name of Jesus is the Name above every name and the beloved Name of our Savior. I would much rather shout out His Name and offend the world than to keep quiet and offend my God.
