Mideast: A White House suddenly enthralled with cruise missile diplomacy and, without a Libyan exit strategy, issues a verbal warning to another murderous dictatorship. Our policy is full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Did President Obama ever say, "Ahmadinejad must go"? Did he support the Iranian protestors when it could have made a big difference in the region?
If we want regime change in Libya, take charge, Mr. President, then go big or go home. If it's not, why waste our time when serious problems such as Iran are ignored? If we are into protecting civilians against murderous despots, then, indeed, what about Syria?

Here is Obama’s blurb about Persian New Year a week ago. In a sense it isn’t worth publishing, tho I am providing a link to it to show how meaningless his “good-wishes to the People of Iran” is. 0bama simply restates what Iranians, particularly in Iran, already know, and, unlike him, have Experienced. What has 0bama done about it? ZERO. And, he forgets that many Iranians in Iran can no longer financially afford the New Year celebrations, nor are they permitted to enjoy it. Doesn’t 0bama know, the Persian New Year is something that the Mullahs’ regime has been against since they came to power 32 yrs ago because it is a Zoroastrian celebration, NOT ISLAMIC?

To answer the question from the article, Obama won't take serious action against Syria because Syria is allied with Iran and Syria attacks Israel. In Obama's world, those are good things.
