We're about a mile inland. Tainan is on a coastal plain. Pretty flat.
Elevation? Maybe 50' ASL...I'm about 5' 10" so you can add that to it...;)
Thanks. The EQ & subsequent tsunami have had absolutely NO EFFECT here. The tsunami didn't bring anything to the island at all. I saw TV pics from the Hualien/Taidong/Danshui/North Coast area that showed some 3' waves for about an hour and not much else. Some folks were surfing in it.

It didn't do anything here.
