As I declared: The US with Democrats in charge...Has no Honor....Just ask our allies.

While Clapper is a putz this analysis makes sense to me. Aside from not wanting to tackle the tar baby of pacifying another Arab state BHO may also have decided that if Col K prevails it may take a lot of the vinegar out of the current wave of wog land turmoil which will make it lots easier to concentrate on trying to encourage non-Islamacists from coming to power in Egypt or Tunis or Yemen.

Clapper's clueless. He should have been run out of town on a rail for his last faux pas.

Istanbul = Constantinople

So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks

I agree. Qaddafi will probably win this power struggle because nobody is going to stop him. I don’t know too much about this Clapper fellow but I also agree with him on the China threat. Lindsay Graham? You know, he was trying to ram amnesty down our throats not very long ago so I don’t believe much of what he has to say about anything.

It matters to me that he does his duty.

his only duty is to protect and defend the constitution of the US and to obey the lawful orders of the officers above him. Unless Obama orders him to, he is not duty bound to fight in Libya and I would bet money that Obama doesn’t give that order.

Qaddafi is popular in Libya, and probably even more so in North Africa itself; he’s very welcoming to talent from neighboring countries, who flock there because it is better than where they are from.

This was an obvious possiblity from the beginning in Libya so why did Obama take the rebels’ side so strongly at the start. This blowing from side to side, position to position, just guarantees that everybody thinks you’re on their enemy’s side and, thus, whoever prevails will think you betrayed them and hate you even more than would have. We never had a dog in this battle of dictatorial thugs. Should have stayed “no comment” from the world go. Same with Egypt. Unless of course, the whole agenda is to stir up as much unreast, as widely as possible, in the Islamic world.

Clapper is correct. And then the real massacres will begin as Gaddafi purges every perceived enemy.

Obama is a weakling and an idiot who with his every utterance diminishes both the office he holds and the country he is supposed to represent.

Its blatantly obvious to everyone with 2 neurons firing that Obama will not lead any real oposition against Momar... Even if he believed it were the right thing to do he would not do it.. he is a coward, he is not a leader.
