Did the Aspen Institute know about Schiller's problems at NPR when they hired him?

Did the Aspen know about Schiller's problems when they agreed to hire him?

I noticed that the web cam date for the O'Keefe video at the restaurant was shot on 2-22-11 and that the Aspen Institute's announcement of Schiller's move from NPR was dated 3-3-11.

So was the Aspen Institute aware of the video when they hired him? And if they were, does the Aspen Institute endorse Schiller's point of view regarding Conservatives, Tea Party members, Jews, and so on?

Most likely yes, before they fired him.

“Ron Schiller has informed us that, in light of the controversy surrounding his recent statements, he does not feel that it’s in the best interests of the Aspen Institute for him to come work here,” the Aspen Institute said in a statement Wednesday.

From the web site:

The Aspen Institute Mission Statement:

The Aspen Institute mission is twofold: to foster values-based leadership, encouraging individuals to reflect on the ideals and ideas that define a good society, and to provide a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues.

You would think that if they are really trying to be neutral that having Mr. Schiller on staff would contradict that part of the mission statement.

Were they duped or did they know and hired him anyway?

The Aspen Institute is probably farther leftwing than NPR is. They will be happy with their new operative.

Problems? They look at a raging hatred of conservatives as a positive.

No, or he would still be going there.

He demurred, and they removed the glowing announcement of his arrival from their website.

In short, the Aspen Institute (originally the AI of Humanistic Studies), is the coffee shop of Ivy League, one-world buffoons. Its American membership overlaps heavily with the Trilateral Commission buffoons, the Center for Strategic and International Studies buffoons, and all of the other little “think tank” organizations, whose chanted motto seems to be:

“One-world UN government! Elites rule! Money talks! We know better! NWO! NWO! Weeeeeee!”

Check out their membership, which are the usual suspects in all of these ineffectual supervillain organizations:

Henry Kissinger

Kofi Annan

Bruce Babbitt

Condoleeza Rice

James Wolfensohn (chairman of the World Bank)

Jessica T Matthews (president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace)

Joseph Nye (dean of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government)

Olara Otunnu (UN Undersecretary General). This guy is special, belonging to every conspiratorial organization on the planet, far too many to list here.

Michael Eisner when he controlled and almost ruined Walt Disney Co.

Gerald Levin (President and CEO of Time Warner). (CNBC named him as one of the “Worst American CEOs of All Time”.)

Here are a bunch more. Mutants, defectives, megalomaniacs all:

The Aspen Institute has also had a “congressional program”, to draft weak minded congressmen into their ranks since 1983.

Needless to say, you’re not going to find a lot of invitations to Tea Party congressmen, who the elites probably look at as country bumpkins who don’t know their place.
