I have been in this war to restore the Constitution for a long time. Most of the victorious fights have been started by the grass roots and won by the grass roots. The NRA has been quite helpful in a lot of areas such as overall education and awareness, and in pushing for preemption bills. All too often, though, the NRA has to be dragged into the fight after the prep work has been done, and only arrives after the issue is mostly settled.

The gun industry has to be dragged, reluctantly and hesitantly, into supporting some efforts. They are pretty good when they are directly threatened, such as the bill to prevent frivilous lawsuits against them. Mostly, they do not want the publicity of being in the fight. I think that is bad policy on their part, but that is the way it is.

The idea that these grass roots directed battles to restore our Constitutional rights are pushed by the firearms industry to increase profits, is laughable to anyone who has actually been in the trenches. It is so far removed from reality that it fits the "big lie" category.

Now we have four states with Constitutional carry. I predicted that we would have at least five by the end of this year. Who will be next? New Hampshire? South Carolina? Kentucky? Wisconsin? Tennesee? Idaho? Utah? Maine?

The article does not mention the names of the other 3 states who allow concealed carry without a permit. They are Alaska, Vermont, and Arizona.

Another victory!

It is truly wonderful how far we have come from the awful days of the 1970s, when it appeared that the RKBA was being crushed out of existence.

Now most states have "shall issue" concealed carry licenses, and in four states, we have achieved constitutional carry.

My ultimate dream is to pass a federal firearms freedom act, eliminating all federal firearms control and taxation:

Federal Firearms Freedom Act

1) United States Code Title 18, Part I, Chapter 44 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
2) United States Code Title 26, Subtitle E, Chapter 53 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

The first part takes care of all of 922 and 923. The second part takes care of the Internal Revenue Code related to 922 and 923.

Colorado is on the way. Colorado HB1205 - passed out of committee a few days ago on an 8-3 vote.

EXCELLENT! I hope the trend for Constitutional Carry makes its way across the states. Amazing. I never thought we’d have 4.

If Texas doesn’t join this list this year, there’s going to be some serious consequences to the RINO legislooters.

Constitutional carry is the law of the land....the courts have just not recognized it yet.
