BARACK Obama will make his first state visit to Britain in May after accepting an invitation from the Queen.
The US president will be joined by wife Michelle on the three-day trip, ahead of the G8 summit of world leaders in France.
As is traditional, the couple will get a ceremonial welcome, a banquet in their honour and they'll stay at Buckingham Palace.
The visit, from May 24 to 26, was announced yesterday by the Palace and the White House.
The US leader is likely to bring a delegation and is expected to meet Prime Minister David Cameron.
A Downing Street spokesman said: "We are very pleased that this visit is taking place. It is a sign of the strong and enduring relationship between our two countries."
A White House spokesman said: "This trip will be the president's first European state visit, a sign of the strength of the special relationship between our countries and America's enduring commitment to its European and Nato allies and partners."
I'll start:

Obama chia pet!
0bama should give the Queen an 0bama Chia Pet head. She could put it on the floor and let the dogs water it.
A tourist model of The Tower.
The Queen should give the bust of Churchill as a gift to Dumbama.
Sir Mix-A-Lot’s ‘Baby Got Back’.
I like that one!
The James Bond Collection in a boxed set of Beta cassettes.
I wonder who really instigated this and why? could it be a result of Prince William not wanting this junk yard dog gang at his wedding?
Her Majesty can give the President an Ipad with all of her Christmas Day addresses for the past 59 years recorded on it.
I think the Queen could win Michelle over by giving her a new boob belt and an “I’m with stupid” T-shirt.
I’m sure we’ll find out at some point.
Well, something classy like a log of Wisconsin Cheese (unity with the striking teachers)
IPOD Mini to show America’s economic strength lies in Chinese labor
And of course the upcoming Bristol Palin autobiography because that will be kind of funny.
How about some region one DVD’s.
What ever happened to the Nuke story?
Lol! That was funny.
Mao’s Little Red Book, a copy of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, assorted Che and Mau-Mau t-shirts, and a bronze bust of Gyorgy Schwartz/George Soros.
He can just stay there. He’s already a British subject from birth.
