'A weapon of mass destruction was found in the U.S.': Shock confession of Customs officer
U.K. Daily Mail ^ | 2/13/11 | David Gardner

A port official has admitted that a 'weapon of mass effect' has been found by 'partner agencies' in the U.S., raising major questions over a possible government cover-up.

The disturbing revelation came in an interview with San Diego's assistant port director screened by a television channel in the city.

The Customs and Border Protection Department tried to dampen speculation over his remarks, but doubts remained over whether he had inadvertently revealed a dirty bomb plot to attack the U.S. mainland.

‘So, specifically, you're looking for the dirty bomb? You're looking for the nuclear device?’ asked Mr Blacher.

‘Correct. Weapons of mass effect,’ said Mr Hallor.

‘You ever found one?’ asked Mr Blacher.

‘Not at this location,’ Mr Hallor said.

‘But they have found them?’ asked Mr Blacher. ‘Yes,’ said Mr Hallor.

It’s a weapon of mass hysteria.

Cool, when one goes off in your hood and kills your family, we'll be hysterical.

'A weapon of mass destruction was found in the U.S.': Shock confession of Customs office

The UK daily mail picks up on the story now.

Thanks, Jet Jaguar.

. . . . They won’t seal the Mexican border because they want suitcase nukes coming in. An attack will justify their order for martial law and the USA will be a memory.

Hah!

Shows what you know.

This was the SAN DIEGO border (well, Customs station officer) ... NOT the southern border.

See? ??????? Napolitano wasn’t taking about the “San Diego” border being safe!

Exactly. I’m not even sure that’s a big deal. It probably depends on how much and what kind of stuff they have packed into it, and how big a conventional explosive they have.

Dirty bombs are not a terrorist’s weapon of choice for good reasons. It takes more money and expertise to make one. The guys who have the expertise are not going to do it, because they are smart enough to know the risks to themselves. It’s probably as likely to poison you as your intended target. You’re more likely to get caught. And even if you succeed, the destruction is not significantly more than a conventional explosive.

I remember seeing a TV interview of an anti-nuclear activist a few years ago. She was talking about how they had done a test to see if terrorists could break into a nuclear installation. The phony terrorists broke in and were there for about an hour before they got caught. She was hyperventilating as she stated that they were there long enough to make a bomb. Yes. But she did not mention that it was only a dirty bomb. She left the impression that she was talking about a nuclear explosive. Hard to see why a terrorist would add the risk of getting caught at a nuke installation to his plan when he would not be getting much more out of it than a conventional explosive.

Not to say that it could not happen, but it’s the hysteria that the terrorists are hoping for. Why give them the satisfaction when it doesn’t really merit hysteria in the first place?

Of course, a nuclear explosive is a different matter, but you can’t make a nuclear explosive from the materials you find at a nuclear power plant.

I would not call a dirty bomb a weapon of mass destruction.

But hurricanes, tornado's and nasty snow storms and floods sure are. Tho not weapons..:O)

Rumors on what site? If it was WND I wouldn’t put much stock in them, but there are decent news sites out there. Can you remember where you read that?

You can get killed by a conventional bomb, too. The point of the story was to scare the tar out of people by portraying it as a WMD. You might be that easily manipulated, but I am not. Besides, that’s what the terrorists want to do—scare the tar out of people. Why play into their hands?

I would not call a dirty bomb a weapon of mass destruction.

Fortunately, your definition is not widely accepted.

Now, if you consider the intangible effects of a "dirty bomb" not worthy of the term "destruction", there is no remedy for what ails you.

Ever notice how antsy he gets come vakay time. Like there's not gonna be a country to come back to, so they gotta carry as much of it with them as they can.

You might be that easily manipulated, but I am not.

Your whole premise is moronic. If you don't think there are not those out there who do not want to destroy you, your family and our way of life then go make up your bs and post it somewhere else.

I can get killed by a conventional bomb too eh? What a stupid statement. You can get killed by a home invader crashing through your door tonight, do you have a gun for self defense?

Is the home invader a "Weapon of Mass Destruction"?

Your argument is lame.

That woman in the back ground reminds me of communist countries. You know how they’ll have an official following you around not allowing you to say certain things.

IS there a single investigative journalist out there who could spend some time researching this story or are they just to busy bashing Republicans to look into little things like this..?

Cover up is in force.

The politicians and bureaucrats don’t want the rubes getting upset about WMD’s coming across the border.

It could slow down their plans of amnesty for illegal aliens and for throwing the Mexican border totally open.

I find it interesting that this story is coming out while Congress debates funding for Homeland Security and the Patriot act.
