(snip)
Of his campaign rival, President Obama, McCain revealed that they now have a "common interest" and "common values" that will help them work together. Specifically, McCain believes the two could cooperate on "enhanced rescission" and "once we get the border secure
immigration reform," along with "several other issues."

Does Palin still agree with McCain on "the big picture"?
"Senator McCain and I agree on the big picture,
where it is that the country needs to go."

McC is never going to convince me that O wants to get control of the border, cut the deficit, or do anything to enhance national security in a meaningful way.
Seems McC is laying the groundwork to jump to the dem party if we get 60 seats in 2012.

I wouldn’t think this is the case any more. But I’m not too surprised this is the way he went. He has an obsessive need to be everybody’s friend. Maybe his war horrors were part of this, but that would make it a matter he needs to get counseling about, instead of letting it cause him to utter folly.

If that was literally so, wouldn’t you expect to see rather random policy decisions pulled out of a hat?
I think he’s being actively wooed by the Obamites.

Thanks for the ping.
Ignoring the little changeling, I did learn something interesting from CNN’s article:
Rumsfeld will have a new book out next week, “Known and Unknown: A Memoir”.
One more to pile on the reading list.
