As noted in the article, no laws were actually broken. As I stated before, do a google on no laws were actually broken.

Did what you asked, and have to ask, what is your point? Perhaps I'm obtuse, but we're a nation of laws. The letter of the law is what triumphs, you may not like it, too bad, that's how the system works. Please tell me what you are trying to convey.

Isnt this guy supposed to be doing something about the train-wreck that is NYC?

He can't get the snow off the streets, but he's got a budget for demonstrating that an "automatic pistol" (whatever that is) can be purchased in Arizona.

F'ing Bloomberg needs to MIND HIS OWN BUSINESS (as if his northeastern-corridor, inner-city hell-hole isn't screwed up enough - and all due to his and his left-wing ilks inept/corrupt/authoritarian ways).

Arizona legislators need to come up with a law that says if ANYONE without the proper standing and jurisdiction tries to pull one of Bloomberg's underhanded stunt "stings" in their state, he/she will be charged with a FELONY.

That asshole is a crazy, Narcissistic, left-wing Progressive, gun-grabbing POS, and the sooner he is gone (from politics), the better.

Until he's gone, he needs to STFU and STAY (leave the states where most of the people respect, revere, and PROTECT freedom the f alone) in his little Police/Nanny-State which he lords over at the sheeples ignorant behest.

I wish him nothing but extreme misfortune.

Sorry, but I'm in the camp that wants the laws followed.

I'm of the camp that accusations, like yours, either should be backed up with facts, or an apology should be forthcoming.

This is just a trick to get rid of the imaginary “gun show loophole”. If this is a real issue, all the Gubmint has to do is set up an “Instant Check” booth at gun shows that the buyers would have to go through.

I think there was a study some years ago that said only 3% (or so) of the guns used in a crime were purchased at gun shows. Most were stolen, borrowed or bought through legal means.

The problem lies in the fact that the Gubmint is sticking their noses in private financial transactions.

Do you do a background check on somebody you sell a car to? If the Nutcase in Tucson drove a Chevy Suburban into the crowd in front of the Safeway, he could have taken out dozens of people. Would we need Chevy Suburban control now? Would it be illegal for a Felon to own a Chevy Suburban?

Of course, the idea that murder is already against the law is lost in the debate.

no laws were broken. They purchased the weapons and passed the background checks required.

It’s nice that Bloomie can take time out to go tell the good folks of another state how he personally thinks they should be running their state, when he can’t even run the city - forget about a state - he was (originally) elected to run. What a pathetic excuse for a human being Bloomie’s become.

Bloom-IAmAClasslessJerk-berg is a self-loathing rich fool. Aren’t there just a few crimes (some with guns) occurring within NYC?

Maybe what’s really going on is that Bloomie is secretly hoping that some Arizonans will retaliate by coming over to NYC and doing what he obviously doesn’t have the cojones to do here himself.

“He can’t even manage his own city and he’s out conducting ‘sting operations’ in other states.”

I wonder how much crime there is in one of the five boroughs compared to Phoenix?

Didn’t he try this in some of the Southern States and lost in court?

I think one of the states told Bloomers it was entrapment, and they would arrest any of his people doing that.

The Arizona AG needs to go after the NYC “undercover” investigators and indict them and Bloomberg as willfully violating the laws of the state. (No, AG Holder will not get involved because Zer0 approves of Bloomies’ actions, illegal as they are.)

Bloomberg and his minions are willfully violating numerous laws that are felonies. Go get them Governor Brewer.

This comment, posted at the Minneapolis StarTribune, says:

“... meanwhile, undercover Arizona investigators recently spent a week in New York City trying to find evidence of God but left empty handed.”

But, it’s not that NYC is Godless, it’s that Mike Bloomberg is the epitome of the arrogant, elitist, Nanny-stater. He is thoroughly convinced that he simply “knows best”. His warped version of “noblesse oblige” is the flawed core of modern, leftist, liberals. They have zero respect for the individual. Such hubris is the true affront to God.

Mayor Mike thinks most people are simply too ignorant and too simple to freely choose in their own self-interest. The peasants must be told how much fat, sugar, and salt to consume. They must be herded into mass transit buses and subways. They’re far too clumsy and ill tempered to be entrusted with their own self-defense...”No guns for you!” So proclaims the Lord of the Manor as he seeks to expand his fiefdom.

Insufferable egoists like Bloomberg insinuate themselves into every aspect of private life with their incessant, hypocritical chiding...”keep off the grass, shut off that cell phone, put out that cigar, lose a few pounds, don’t drive your car, eat more vegetables, fasten your seat belt, lower your thermostat, turn out that light, don’t flush every time ...just leave it to me.” Meanwhile he scoots about his domain ensconced in private jets or limousines, never waiting in line, and guarded by a phalanx of armed cops. Federalism, jurisdiction, or the Bill of Rights, are pesky impediments to autocratic fiat, dismissed with a wave of the royal hand. Such persistent corrosion of “little” freedoms is the rust of liberty. Now, behold how the rot begins on constitutionally protected natural rights.

Do a google search on "no laws were broken", what do you see?

I see the original article on this

Jim Cavanaugh, a retired agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, where he was in charge of the Nashville division, said he didn't believe the sales described by the mayor were, in fact, illegal.

"I wonder how much crime there is in one of the five boroughs compared to Phoenix?"

I don't know, but it would be interesting to find out. At least we know Phoenix probably suffers more sodium intake and sidewalk tobacco crimes than NYC. Come on New Yorkers, can't you rid yourself of this pestilence?
