Old media now asking where is birth certificate

An interview with newly elected Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie that addressed Barack Obama's presidential eligibility has prompted two opposing interpretations by legacy media – one insisting the governor has resolved the issue and the other concluding he effectively has admitted he can't find the long-form birth certificate that would help put the controversy to rest.

The New York Daily News apparently found the interview published Tuesday by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reason to declare final victory over "conspiracy theorists," but ABC News featured a story on its website pointing out Abercrombie has not delivered the promised proof.

After WND's report of the interview Wednesday – emphasizing Abercrombie tacitly has admitted an investigation he first mentioned in December has failed to produce a birth certificate – the New York Daily News declared in its headline, "Record of President Obama's birth in 1961 is 'in the archives': Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie."

The Daily News lead paragraph stated: "Officials in Hawaii have tracked down papers indicating that President Obama was indeed born in their state, according to its new governor."

And the juicy part of this story is that the PREVIOUS governor met with Obama and THEN CLAIMED HE HAD SECURED THE BC

So... Does it exist and was it stored - or was he lying?

If it was stored the new gov should be able to get the key- or at least ask the old governor for a peek

Abercrombie is an old red sympathizer and not to be trusted.
He’s trying to discredit those who raised questions about the original birth certificate (I don’t care much about it as it is a distraction from what Obama is doing to America).

Consider that a Presidential signature is NOT required for a bill to become law. He can, rather, allow it to go into effect without his approval but absent a veto.

I would think that, in the suggested scenario, any Presidential vetoes or appointments would be voided, but bills passed by both houses of Congress would still be law.

To me, to be eligible, Obama needs that Birth Certificate to prove that his father is not Barack Obama Sr.

You're right. Why does everyone overlook the fact that to be a natural born citizen, both parents must be citizens. So what if Obama's real dad is his grandfather, or the communist poet? At least he would have been born in the US, with two citizen parents. That's all I care about, that he be qualified to be President.

There is NO BC on file in HI for Barrack Obama. They say there is a record of his birth....

This has been filled with deceptive "legal weasel words" since the very first press release by Fukino

Here is the statement by Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Health Department of the State of Hawaii:

"I ... have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen," Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said in a brief statement. "I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago."

(note- she said a "natural-born American citizen, NOT natural born United States Citizen.)

Nowhere did she say that she had seen the original "birth certificate"

Much more likely that his father was Frank Marshall Davis, who was taking nude photos of Stanley Ann Dunham and was later a mentor to BHO in the ways of communism.
