WFLA-AM host Tedd Webb calls Ron Reagan Jr. a bad name during on-air interview

When Ron Reagan Jr. called into WFLA-AM 970's top-rated AM Tampa Bay show Wednesday to discuss the book he wrote about his dad, My Father at 100: A Memoir, co-host Tedd Webb couldn't resist saying what was on his mind.

So he called the youngest son of America's 40th president an "a--hole" in mid interview.

"This has nothing to do with political discourse … it's about family," Webb, 61, told the St. Petersburg Times. A staunch conservative, he said it was the first time he ever used such a profanity on air in a radio career stretching back to the mid '60s.

"He's a little spoiled Hollywood brat who … has a history of making his father look bad," he added. "It hit a nerve."

I was just channel surfing, I didn’t listen to the interview. At the point where I was examining Spitzer and Parker who were gleaming wide smiles at Ron Regan, he mentioned his mom, Nancy — and I wanted to hear what he had to say about her, and he mentioned that mentally she is as sharp as a tack, which was good to hear, given the apparent epidemic of dementia in this country.

I have a theory about the two spoiled Reagan kids....the deep love between Nancy and RWR overshadowed these brats and they've spent their entire lives trying outshine that, without success.

Nancy has already read the entire book, she knows what was said in the book, and she told her son Ron that she loves him, and that she ADORES the book.
