WE all know that you shouldn’t text and drive - but texting and walking seems to be equally hazardous if this video is anything to go by.

This is a good indication of the dangers of walking around a college campus these days. No one is looking up. Might as well charge admission and call it an a walking version of bumper cars.

She was probably texting “I’m using the GPS on a Willard Organizer!”
I wonder if her phone is waterproof.
Cell phone use was involved in all events. Other than the girl in the crosswalk, the cellphone user caused the deaths of innocent souls.
Keeping your head stuck to a phone screen is also a good way to attract muggers. It ensures the victim is totally without situational awareness. Perfect ambush situation.

I was in a dress/britches shop yesterday. One woman was on her cellphone the whole time, yakking LOUDLY, yakking, yakking, walking, sailing all over the store, weaving in and out. There was no fountain in the store. It doesn’t seem all that long ago that cellphones were too big to haul around in stores.
I was in a waiting room and one of the other folks started on a cell call and was almost yelling (spanish) into the phone.
“I know it’s a long distance call, but you don’t have to yell.”
She looked at me with big eyes and quieted down while taking it outside.
I think a lot of it is
“LOOK HOW IMPORTANT I AM! I’M TALKING ON A CELL PHONE!”
Remember the RED LED watches ?
I remember going to the movies and hearing people’s LED watch Alarms going off. Seems they SET IT to go off during the movie. Some of them would even hold their hand up to make sure others could SEE the RED LED’s.
Then there were people I would notice who left their nice warm home (with a landline phone) and drive around in their car JUST TO USE THEIR CELL PHONE.
LOOK AT ME. I’m SO COOL. I HAVE THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY. BOW BEFORE ME!
The security crowd narrating the video mentions “Pedro from housekeeping” a couple of times.
I wonder if Pedro is their name for mex workers and how long will it be before La Raza is protesting the mall for it’s “insensitivity”?
