Chief Justice John Roberts says the shooting in Arizona that killed five was senseless and inflicted "tragic loss on dedicated public servants and their families."
He said Saturday that the judiciary has suffered the terrible loss of "one of our own," referring to federal Judge John Roll. "Roberts said Roll selflessly served Arizona and the nation with great distinction, as attorney and judge, for more than 35 years."

After ruling that a group of illegal immigrants could go forward with a multi-million dollar civil rights lawsuit against a state rancher, it can NOT be truthfully said that he was “serving the people of Arizona”. A retraction is in order.
