The brazenness of the Obama administration never ceases to amaze. Try typing "Obamacare" into Google, and you'll find that the first entry is now the Obama administration's www.healthcare.gov. If you don't particularly like that result, you'll probably hate the fact that you're paying for it. You'll get the same paid-for result if you type in "Obamacare facts," "Obamacare summary," "Obamacare info," "Obamacare overview," "Obamacare questions," "Obamacare explanation," "Obamacare basics," "Obamacare pros and cons," "Obamacare and elderly," and even "Obamacare and abortion." For each of these search terms, and many others, the Obama administration's site comes up first, as a paid entry. But it doesn’t come up if you type in "ObamaCare repeal."
Politico's Ben Smith, in a post entitled "HHS Buys 'ObamaCare,'" quotes an official from Secretary Kathleen Sebelius's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), who confirms that this clear attempt to influence what Americans read about Obamacare does, indeed, represent your tax dollars at work: "'We are using a bunch of search term[s] to help point people to HealthCare.gov. Seems like a more relevant search.
I tried it, and got all kinds of results....not one which would have sent me to the government site.....
I just googled ‘obamacare’ and (after the news blurbs)a wiki page came up first and then obamacaretruth.org by media research center - against obamacare
Then the government wasted this money and got ripped off by google.
They’re Google Ad Words. All one must do is outbid HHS and their results come out on top.
Cut all funding for ObamaCare, including this funding

Just like big business, e.g. General Motors, Monsanto, General Electric, etc. increasingly cave to government manipulation the same can happen with "private" telecommunication resources. The underlying principle is the "Third Way" out of the London School of Economics, essentially a form of fascism (Siemens, Messerschmidt, etc. were "private" companies co-opted by National Socialism). This can be enacted because the federal government prints the money it wants.
The tragedy here is that the dynamism of initiated enterprises, and the competitive creative spirit they engender, is squelched by collusion of authoritarian power with existing institutions. Hence statism in its fullest meaning.
I wonder if the Duke history professors examine this.
Its hard to keep ahead of those waskally wabbits.
Kinda hard to be blasting HHS when the very premise of the article, fails.
