realclearpolitics ^

Posted on 11/26/2010 2:02:46 PM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Karl Rove discusses Sarah Palin's book tour and a possible presidential run. Palin will be doing three book tour events in Iowa, which Rove calls a "smart move."

"She's got a problem with Independents and she has a problem with Democrats," Rove said about Palin's rating with these groups.

RINO man says that like it's a bad thing.

I see Rove’s comments as disingenous. Palin ought to tell Rove to sit down and shut the hell up.

It's obvious that Rove is on tap to work for someone else in the next election. Since Romney seems to be the favorite of his political circle, I am guessing that is where his loyalties lie. If he was hired by Sarah Palin, he would be singing her praises and knocking Romney.

It was probably Karl Rove who was behind President Bush's idiotic statement about "abandoning free market principles to save the free market" in 2008.

I guess now he thinks Sarah Palin should abandon Conservative principles to save Conservatism.

Just go away, Rove.

That's what I was thing too.

Rove and W's performances are not the type of the "unifying" that we ought to be looking for.

Mitt Romney (hiding somewhere):
”Now that my Romneycare (funded 60% by US taxpayers)
is being pushed by my chosen (RINO) “Republicans”,
a little self examination is in order.
You may want to ask yourself 'if I had spent my time promoting
RomneyCare and Mitt Romney, could not
I have today garnered more support
of both President Obama and Governor Romney?'
. Now listen to my Team attack
and go play with your little bananas.“

"Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

Note to Rove: Just - Shut - Up!

It's time for Rove to leave the stage and fall silent. He's out of touch with the American people, and is nothing more than a RINO Establishment shill.

thank you, Karl. Don't phone us, we'll phone you.....next?

Since when has any GOP candidate for president been chosen based upon the RINO Elites' consensus that they'll "unite Republicans, Deomcrats and Independents"? Was that what they felt Bobdole would do? John McLame? This canard of Tokyo Rove's is just his latest "best guess" at how to start undermining her before she even officially announces.

Once she's on the books as running, if Komrade Karl comes out slandering her like he did Christine O'Donnell, I may just provide him with an object lesson in loyalty and patriotism.

Wait, I’m thinkin’ here. Why? Unless the Republicans unify and identify with the REAL political movement in this country......the Conservative movement just put the onus on the moderates (liberals) in the party. Or am I wrong in my thinkin’? I dunno, it’s been a long week. LOL

Rove really hasn’t ever focused on uniting Republicans. How would he know if that was at all necessary.

BINGO.

"Uniter" Karl Rove to fellow Republican Tancredo:

[You are] "a traitor to the party" and "a traitor to the president".....never "darken the doorstep of the White House."

IMO, Rove is a GOP party-pestilence who has been a "traitor" to the conservative movement and to the tenets and elements of the Tea Party.

His constant unsolicited elitist criticism of Palin is teetering close to sabotage.

Yes, I think you are right about Rove. I heard a radio interview of Bush 41 last night. Mr. Bush commented he thought Romney was the real deal (my take on what he said). Just imagine Dana Carvey doing an imitation of X41 and you can just hear how X41 said it.

Most all of the nasty comments and slurs against Palin invariably can be traced back to Romney (excluding Dims and libs). One of our FR posters has kept a running log of them.

Abortionist/Statist CommieCare Romney will split us for sure.

He and his cabal of statists operatives (like Rove) will do everything they can to undermine Palin's backside under the guise of "analysis"

We simply can NOT allow Romney any breathing room, any traction at all, nor a foot in the door.

To Rove “uniting” Republicans = conservatives accepting more government, less freedom

Question Karl:

Why don’t Romney, Huckabee and Gingrich have the prove the same thing?

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head...

Conservatives unify under common principle not PEOPLE! We saw how ell the Rove approach worked with McCain the "maverick" wacko RINO...

Like any good propagandist Rove seems intent on establishing a "cult of personality" perspective when he speaks about personalities versus principles....

The principles Palin promotes are what unify those that would support her candidacy...
