Sarah needs “independents” and more women t win...just likeany other candidate would need...you jump on Rove for every word he says,,,he know about politics...even if you all don;t like him. I listen to what he has to say, and he makes political sense...

As long as the alphabet propganda agencies exist, Sarah Palin, or any Conservative, will never get an honers, fair shake. She will never have the truth told about her. Everything she does and says will be reported in a negative light.

How to make them disappear? Don’t watch them. Simple as that.

He (The %#^^^#$ Architect) will likely be in the corner of a Mitch Daniels, Mitt Romney or perhaps Tim Pawlenty when the time comes.

I will be watching closely the staff hierarchy of the candidates. Those sporting the likes of Steve Schmidt, Nicolle Wallace, Karl Rove, Mike Murphy, etc. can forget about my vote.

I shouldn't be suprised after you criticize Rove and Bush that you also don't like Palin. Perhaps you prefer to spend your time on Freerepublic criticizing the former administration instead of the current rat President or rat majority in the Senate. Whether you are an anti-GOP conservative, is irrelevant to me. I merely wished to say that Rove doesn't expect "Democrats to vote for Republicans? Really?", but that Palin will motivate rats to the polls against her unlike Rudy, or Romney. I wasn't sure, from your response, that you understand what he was trying to convey.

Of course rats DO sometimes vote GOP. They voted GOP when they got tired of Carter and when they saw the anti-American side of the rats in 2004.

Who ever the GOP candidate is will be better than 0.

Congratulations, two misinterpretations in a row! Because you’re pretty thick, allow me to spell out for you exactly what I’m saying:

1. Karl Rove is incorrect that a Republican presidential candidate needs Democrat crossover votes to win. They are most certainly helpful, as are any other form of vote, but due to inherent policy disagreements Democrats are unlikely to willingly vote for a Republican and so any form of Democrat support should not be sought on the part of a Republican candidate. If the candidate gets Democrat votes, great. If not, oh well. The handful of votes that would be acquired are not worth the amounts of campaign time and money necessary to secure them.

2. Rove’s past actions of having his candidate tailor policy and campaign rhetoric in order to help secure the votes of the opposite party ended in disaster. How many here lambaste GWB for not defending himself, or for the prescription drug plan, for TARP, or for any other policy meant to appease Democrats? It didn’t work. For Rove to come out and say that the 2012 candidate needs essentially do what GWB did is wrong and demonstrates an inability on Rove’s part to learn from his own failures, or to even perceive what is and isn’t a failure.

3. None of this is a reflection on the political viability of Sarah Palin as a presidential candidate. It is simply a refutation of Rove’s mindless “let’s give the Democrats most of what they want” campaign style. The end result of pretending to be a Democrat is the election of the genuine article. Reference Obama.

Oh, and I like Sarah Palin. She has my vote over Romney, Suckabee, and Pawlenty.

I got it by remembering that Rove was the campaign manager for the 2000 and 2004 Republican presidential candidate. Remember when we hated GWB for the prescription drug plan and other assorted Democrat-like spending? Rove is saying that’s okay because Republicans need to specifically target Democrat votes to win elections, an idea which was the centerpiece of the two campaigns he managed.
