Karl Rove discusses Sarah Palin's book tour and a possible presidential run. Palin will be doing three book tour events in Iowa, which Rove calls a "smart move."

"She's got a problem with Independents and she has a problem with Democrats," Rove said about Palin's rating with these groups.

I would advise Karl Rove to stop mentioning Sarah's name.

Speaking to Karl Rove: “Sir, Sarah Palin is not the problem. RINOs like Karl Rove are the problem. When RINOs don't get their way, RINOs throw hissy fits and then sabotage the conservative candidate so the Donkey wins the election. In RINO-speak, it's better to elect a Donkey than one of those “evil” conservatives. Karl Rove has no principles.

Those Republicans that Sarah Palin cannot unify are not Republicans but RINO’s, socialists and/or the same as communists Democrats. Lets stop the bull crap and call it what it is. Have they ever really listening to a real American?

Nearly as big a problem as conservatives have with you, Rove. Kindly zip it.

Because polls show they already favorable with independents.

When you look at head to head polls vs Obama, Romney, Huckabee, and Gingrich are in a dead heat. Palin is like 8 points behind meaning she doesnt have independent support that the other guys already have.

And the second Karl “the buffet” Rove showed up on Fox he prefaced his comments by saying “I’m a commentator”.

Seriously?

I turned the channel. I can’t be the only doing this and Fox must not be getting the message.

“Unify Republicans”, eh Karl? You mean the same ‘Republicans’ who are working overtime behind the scenes to take her down? They are as diabolical, if not more so, than the Dims. The R’s at least are supposed to be on the same general side. But these guys have become masters of the anonymous source, off the record put down. Gutless wonders they are. Well, once they stop trying to DESTROY her, I’m sure we can all ‘get along’.

Actually, though, they are the ones who need to unify with conservative Tea Party principles. I didn’t cast MY votes for the same old garbage they want to dish out. Once they figure out who and what actually won during the mid-terms, maybe everyone can get together and have a chat.

I strongly suspect Mr. Rove is attempting to see if he can make Sarah dance to his tune. Whether it’s due to ego or something else remains to be seen, but it does appear that he is speaking that way.

Because its the make-up of the electorate. Only 40% of the electorate is conservative. Democrats outnumber Republicans in many swing states like Pennsylvania and Florida. It’s the independents in those states that have the ability to swing the election to the GOP.

Push polls, fake Independents plus a complicit Mouthpiece Media = Romney (because he brought the earliest version of Obamacare to Massachusetts and because he was once Pro "Choice" and can be flipped back to that position again)

I think it's the highly over-rated Rove that has the problem.

He sticks with the D.C. elite Republicans vs. actual conservatives.

Mitt Romney: "I am not a GOP backstabber.
[(hiding, gutless, coward thinks) I just get others like Rove … to do it for me.]"

Romney Rises Again - Mark McKinnon
After laying low during Palinpalooza, the former governor is back atop the GOP pack for 2012.
He ... established health care reform in Massachusetts"

"Rove is pushing Romney so aggressively some folks are beginning to wonder what's going on," grumbled one veteran Republican strategist."

"Rove has made no secret of his support for Romney as McCain's VP. "

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts. in some polls, days prior to the election.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney
guided by his business partner, George Soros, had
Parker, Frum, and the rest of TeamROMNEY
attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008 to the DNC.

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

"Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 (2008, weeks before the election) Early Show appearance."

David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."

David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician… I will support him without qualm."

Kathleen Parker: "[I]t is increasingly clear that Palin is a problem." "Parker ... says something publicly that many of us have thought privately
but lacked the courage to say out loud - Palin should step down:"

"Kathleen Parker: After Interviews, Palin Should Bow Out"

Kathleen Parker: "Romney would bring more than squeaky clean qualifications
and youthful good looks to the ticket.
Romney would seem a logical choice."

"Parker: Romney raised bar on freedoms"
Kathleen Parker: "If Kennedy's speech was an important landmark in American political history,
Romney's was surpassing. With heartfelt humility and poetic eloquence,
he tracked the nation's struggle with and for freedom."
