I love that first picture, because if you realize the sun has set already, and then realise you can see the sun reflection in the smoke plume, it is obvious that the plume HAS to be rising from the western horizon with the sun reflecting off the bottom; if the plume came up from the ground 40 miles out, it would all be in shadow.

I live in AZ, and I’ve seen missile contrails from launches at White Sands in NM. I’ve also seen thousands of contrails from airliners. They are not at all the same. The zig-zag pattern is the giveaway. It’s because of the vertical trajectory of the contrail source.
The shots I saw of this strange event had the telltale zig-zag formation that I associate with missiles, not the nice straight ones I see from airplanes.
I am not a conspiracy theorist, nor have I ever played one on TV. Far from it.
Yesterday in Fresno there were 3 jets which came through in a manner of a few minutes. Two passed over me and had normal looking trails. I got a chuckle over the third.It was to my side.It looked just like a missile trail, just like the mystery contrail straight up and wide. Of course it wasn’t it was a commercial jet and the difference was the angle. Either that or there was a Chinese sub northbound in the approximate vicinity of Blackstone Ave.
