NEW YORK, N.Y.

For her next book tour, Sarah Palin will again skip some of the nation's biggest cities.

HarperCollins announced Wednesday that the former Republican vice-presidential candidate and Alaska governor will be on the road from Nov. 23 to Dec. 3, with a break for Thanksgiving, to promote "American by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag."

The book comes out Nov. 23 and is her first since her memoir, "Going Rogue."

As with "Going Rogue," Palin will not make appearances in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco or other cities where Democrats are more in favour. She will spend little time on either coast.

The tour begins in Phoenix, in the home state of her 2008 running mate, John McCain.

I’m banging my head against the wall right now. We’re going to be out of town. (sigh) I give up...

BTW, Syncro has met me, so HE knows I am not that woman

Yup, that's true.

When Jim originally posted the query, I didn't connect the name with someone that I knew. It's such a common name...

If you get to the signing area, tell Sarah greetings from me and Free Repblic!

And I'm sure Jim would like the same.

Although I told her my FR handle Syncro, she knows me as Gary.

But she’s going to red states who will vote for her in the general election, no matter what.
No, she needs the support of the red states in order to win them in the GOP primary!

Dang, looks like I’ll be in Carmel again on the 2nd, waiting outside in the cold. Hopefully it won’t rain this time.

Oh well, it’s well worth it.

Baton Rouge is a pretty nice place. Haven’t been there for years but you will like it. Unfortunately, we will miss her in Dallas because we will be out of town. Thanks for the ping. I can’t wait to watch her show this weekend. Got my recording set!
