President Obama allowed Republicans to define the terms of the nation's political argument for the past two years and permitted them to draw battle lines the way they wanted. Neither he nor his party can let that happen again. This only underscored that Tuesday's results mark the beginning of the next round, not the end of the contest. Before the next election - which will be decided by a broader electorate - progressives, including Obama, have to be wiser about the fights they pick, more focused on the country's economic pain, and as shrewd as their adversaries have been in promoting debates that rally their troops and advance their goals.

After reading the first sentence, I agree - nutcase.
Ah, yes, the delusional ObamaBots are still around. Every country needs its fools.
What planet are they on? The Republicans haven't been allowed to do anything, but take the seats at the back of the bus for the past two years.
Zero has defined ALL the terms of the debate. It’s HIS agenda that Americans rejected... and will reject again 2 years from now.
LSM focusing on the Senate where only 33 seats were up for election and Republicans made a huge gain. Gains will continue in 2 years.
This is still Zero’s economy and he’ll shoulder the blame in 2010.
But then his initials are E.J..
What is significant is not that the Republicans have somehow magically defined the battleground despite 0bama's hold on the White House, the Senate, the House, and the vast majority of the entrenched media, but that all of the latter have failed to sell a sow's ear to the public as a silk purse. There's no magic involved, only a public rightfully resentful at having been lied to in '08. Dionne and the rest of the liars don't appear to realize they've been caught out and their message dismissed. They should be concerned with that, it's their livelihood.
What amazes—amazes—me is that, somehow Dionne has found that he can continually expose his thinking and believe, along with the Washington Post, that it is somehow relevant to the situation at hand. His arrogance . . . Well, I’ve said it, and I should quit.
