Alvin Greene Reacts To Senate Loss (2 people show up - Greene runs around the room)

Manning, SC -- Democratic candidate for Senate Alvin Greene saw his longshot campaign come to a close Tuesday night. Although he gained an impressive number of votes, he fell short of defeating Senator Jim Demint.

He made a bizarre post-campaign appearance in Manning. 200 people were expected for his campaign party, but only about 2 people showed up, along with Greene and his family.

News Channel 7's Jonathan Carlson was the only Upstate reporter there and attempted to speak with Greene in a sometimes odd interview.

As he entered the catering hall, Greene was asked if he would run again. He replied, "I don’t know."

When asked if he agreed with some people's perception that his campaign was a "joke", he replied, "no, no, no."

When asked if he called Senator Demint to concede the race, he moaned, "nooooooo...." and ran off.

Greene proceeded to run around in circles in the hall's main room, as reporters followed him asking questions.

At times, his focus was more on the finger foods on the table, as opposed to the election results.

Greene then presented the reporters present, with a comic book he printed of himself, in which he called himself a "warrior". A warrior, that will save you and your home.

You can watch the exchange in the video box above.

And the 2 who showed up left when they found out it was a cash bar.

” but only about 2 people showed up “

‘About’??

I’ve always suspected it, but here’s a real-world demonstration that ‘journalists’ can’t count to ‘two’....

How did this guy win the primary? I mean the Dems in SC are not that bad. Haley had a tough race for governor.

Whatever I think of O’Donnell, I wish National Review or some other online publication would have monitored and compared the daily coverage of her vs. how Greene was covered.

O’Donnell was used to promote the “Tea Partiers are nuts” idea, while Greene was treated as nothing more than an oddity we shouldn’t be too mean to.

What is really REALLY scary is that he garnered 28 % of the vote.

Thousands voted for him.

I’ll miss him.

The most amazing result from last night was that tens of thousands of people voted for this man. Amazing, and scary.

And Alvin Greene received more votes than O’Donnell.

So the next time the media punditry pontificates that it’s scary Christine got as many votes as she did, Alvin Greene got more.

Then be a warrior!

Enough of the “waiting for Superman” attitude I see rampant across this country. We are all given from birth all that we need to succeed in life, but somewhere along the way we lose track and fall into the trap of letting others tell us what we can get.

Work
Government
Education

Same story, over and over. If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. What are YOU doing about YOU and where you are going and doing? The Tea Party bedrock principals are less Government giving to us and allowing us to attain our OWN “pursuit of happiness”. Wake up and look inside, I say again take control of your own life and stop giving it away to those things and people who do not serve you.

Go on You Tube and look up Napoleon Hill, watch the first video of “Think and grow Rich” and then take a look at yourself. God gave YOU what YOU need, when are you going to start using it?

Get busy living or get busy dying!

I went looking for the actual numbers.  Even scarier than we imagined. Not just tens of thousands - but HUNDREDS of thousands.

The Democrat did pull in 28 percent of the vote, with 356,969 people saying they'd rather have him than DeMint

I would like to think folks were simply voting AGAINST DeMint. But you and I know Blacks will vote for a Black just because....

And let's learn some lessons from that ourselves about OUR candidates.

Not being a RINO just ain't enough. If we're going to demand the best from Washington, it's gotta start with us.

What is really REALLY scary is that he garnered 28 % of the vote.

This is why we need to stop this 'reach across the aisle' BS. RINOS need to realize there are some votes we will NEVER get. Shoot, 30% of Oklahomans voted to allow Sharia law to be used in courtroom decisions.
