GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Rick Snyder, the self-proclaimed "One Tough Nerd," is projected to become Michigan's next governor over Democrat Virg Bernero.
Republican Snyder will take over as the state's 48th governor when he succeeds Jennifer Granholm in January.
A two-term governor, Granholm was unable to run again for the office due to term limits.
Still waiting on news here in the 7th re: Walberg v. schauer.
At least the SOS is staying GOP! This is a big loss for Soros!

Same here. In this instance it was a vote for the lesser of two evils. Maybe we can hold his feet to the fire.

Very good news there. A lot of folks don't understand how dangerous that Soros plan to takeover state election is. One of his first winners was the guy who pulled the Franken in Minn.

Yes for Synder. 1 for the Mi and the UPers thus far. We need to know does Benishek beat McDowell. I had only one candidate knock on my door - it was the POS democrat from Houghton. He tried to hem and haw around with me as he was a working man. I was sitting on my John Deere Z-Turn and he was shocked to see a disabled vet show up with a Zero turn lawnmower. It is great to be able to cut the grass, I have it fitted so I can get around on it real good. I simply told him to get the hell off my property. I gave him 5 seconds before I got off the z turn and started up the Stihl chain saw.
Finally Michigan has an American governor again.
