A Democrat-killer

Above all else, the coming election is about ObamaCare.

Democrats wish it were about the economy. Polls show that voters still blame the downturn more on President George W. Bush than on President Obama or the Democratic Congress. Sure, the Democrats haven't turned the economy around, but things also haven't gotten markedly worse. How could they face historic losses over an economic situation that voters think they inherited more than they created?

It's this point -- sensible in a vacuum -- that presumably has led The New York Times to maintain across months -- and as late as last week -- that if House races simply kept leaning the way they were leaning, the Democrats would hold Congress. The Times' prognosticators couldn't fathom why anything else would so anger voters, so they assumed that the Democrats would survive.

That was a fantasy. The Democrats have lost independents. The latest Rasmussen generic congressional-ballot poll shows independents favoring Republicans over Democrats by (gulp) 17 percentage points. And Republicans are motivated, while Democrats aren't. According to American University researcher Curtis Gans, in this year's primaries, GOP turnout surpassed Democratic turnout for the first time since the Hoover administration -- and by a wide margin: 57 percent to 43 percent.

This is the fact the pollsters keep ignoring.

The fact that the admin. concealed the true scope of unemployment (What’s another lie among friends, especially when you’re dealing with a nation of Homer Simpsons), has to be the last straw. Anyone voting for democrats should turn out the lights, this country is done for. There was a great post yesterday that laid it all out for even Homer to understand...can’t remember which one it was, but reading it felt like standing on the edge of an abyss knowing Obama and pals had put us there deliberately, with malice aforethought.

The assumptions about party weighting and turnout that the pollsters have been operating on this year won’t even come close to reality. This election will be unlike any other we’ve seen in our lifetime.

Hey folks, just keep in mind the big swing is because the wishy-washy Independents are suddenly turning “conservative”. They’re wishy-washy for a reason. If things turn around in the next couple years you can look for them to be right back on the MSM/liberal plantation. No core values means they lean whichever way the wind blows.

And Obama says Americans aren't thinking clearly.

Dems, monetizing the Debt.

Dems, nationalizing health care.

Dems, borrowing more debt in 2 years than the country has wracked up total in the 232 years prior.

Dems, wasting their $787 billion 'stimulus' on nothing. It only stimulated the National Debt Clock.

It's frightening that these lunatics are in charge of the nation's finances.

The Rats are shovel-ready for the dust bin of history.

Exactly, which is why conservatives need to pick their battles and think about longer marches. Like it or not, independents ALWAYS pick the winners and losers and they do indeed lean whichever way the wind blows which means the wind must be managed.

Independents are controlled by fear and hope. Fear is now in control since the hope was wrecked on the rocks.

However, until the leftists are destroyed, the nation remains in peril. Hope springs eternal. As long as the liberal cancer persists in the current metastasized state, it will continue to kill the Republic.

An election is not chemo or radiation or surgical treatment. The cancer will persist in the SEIU, the universities, the local schools, the Sierra Club like institutions, the GE/NBC corporations, and the media at large unless rooted out and ground to nothingness

I believe that the democrats did most of the damage to the economy by going to foreign nations and degrading this nation and degrading its president.

The congress and senate are supposed to do their work with their voting cards or what ever they call them, but that is not what they did, they voted for what Mr. Bush wanted then they went to the news media here and abroad and told lies and did every thing they could to cause disruption in this nation.

George Bush winning the second time was just too much for them to handle, they went absolutely berserk.
