President Obama was elected by a country that doesn't deserve to be ruled by someone as enlightened as he is - or so he thinks. Last weekend, as it became increasingly evident that the president's party is headed for historic losses in the midterm elections, Mr. Obama offered his explanation for the electorate's thanklessness. "Part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now, and facts and science and argument does [sic] not seem to be winning the day all the time is because we're hardwired not to always think clearly when we're scared," he told attendees at a Democratic fundraiser. "And the country's scared, and they have good reason to be."
This is Barack at his most self-absorbed. On his side are facts, science and argument; his opponents, by implication, appeal to myth, irrationality and demagoguery. His brain trust brings moral clarity and intellectual certainty; his opponents are backward-looking knuckle-draggers. This is the only way he can explain the ingratitude of the American people toward his benevolent regime.

He may be smart, but his intelligence is not tempered with reality.
He did not listen to the people of his nation. Instead, he crashed down his 'better' ideas with the iron fisted hand of a man who knew he controlled our house and senate. He RAMMED his political philosophy through, and began the decay of our economy and freedom in the process.
He blew it because he could not step out of his narcissistic personality long enough to hear the cries of his nation.
Imo, he does not care about the suffering he has caused, but he appears dead concerned with leaving his mark and destroying our capitalistic way of life.
I am sorry our first black, well, half black, president had to be such a miserable failure.
He is a mess. And he needs psychological help. So does his wife.
Would be dictators always underestimate the wisdom of the people they wish to subjugate. Our first affirmative action president has the fatal flaw of actually believing the BS his puppet masters have ingrained within him.
It takes more than flowery words and a smooth speech pattern to lead a people born into a legacy of liberty and freedom.
It takes someone who actually “gets” America. And doesn’t rewrite our founding, sacred documents on the fly.
